Turquoise Coyote — Attraction in Hammond

We lived in Louisiana up until Katrina....This quaint family run shop was my favorite place to go for my beads. Not only was this shop full of merchandise from floor to ceiling, they were always ready to take a minute to chat with us . We were made to feel like one of the family. I felt like a kid in a candy store. Out of all the places I have been bead shopping ,and I have been to a lot of shops, Turquoise Coyote is my favorite. I miss the shop and the very friendly people. My husband loved to go with me just to talk to shop owner....He ( my husband) also bought a few nice rocks from this shop. I could talk forever about this place. Instead of talking your ear off, I highly encourage you to make a special trip to Ponchatoula, LA you...

The assortment of beads is unbelieveable. Prices are ok. I wish they had a selection of all colors together of the same type of bead. They have some like that but not many. (Example: Faceted Glass 10mm beads on one strand with assorted colors.) That would be nice to see what colors sell better than others instead of buying one strand with one color. It's kind small but don't be fooled by the size. Every spot in there is full. Really nice southwestern beads that the owner acquired or made. And nice quality beads. You know that they are crystal when you see them. They even have real pearls. Not the cheap fake ones that you buy at other craft stores. I can't say enough about this place. It's so awesome to see ...you have to visit to see it...

This store..Turquoise coyote...has the best people working in it ...it felt like family..and they made you feel so special...they act as I f they still loved what they sale .beeds ' stones 'and every thing needed to make yourself or order by them..oh *I could stay in there for hours..some people stay on top of you when you shop. And you really fully can't think..but in Turquoise coyote...i guess the meaning of all those beads and stones .and beauty of everything inside.made such a spirited even feeling as I stoped ask questions .recieved proper answering .fast..we enjoyed our out of town experience in that store...oh we will be...
