Villa Moderne Motel — Hotel in Hammond

Upon arrival into my room, I immediately check the sheets/comforter and see that it has obviously not been washed. There were 2 big splotches of stains on it, and I called management to ask them to please wash my sheets, they never came. So I pulled all the sheets off about 2 and a half hours later now, and bring them to the office. They would not let me in and directed me to leave them at The door. I can't begin to describe the condition of the room, the bathrub was stained yellow, toilet seat off the hinge. The one chair in my room was missing half the stuffing in it, because there was a giant hole. I didn't even get my sheets back until around 10 pm when I went over to ask for them. They returned them in the same nasty condition-STILL unwashed. This place is a cesspool breeding ground of germs. I was appalled, and afraid to let my 1 year old touch anything. Absolutely horrible my car was broken into and door left completely open in the pouring rain I went to the front desk to review the camera he said just call the police so I did and hel told the police the cameras DONT WORK but the red recording dot shows that it does trust me I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN and I advise everyone...

Older establishment, but everything works. Comfortable beds. Great sheets. No wifi or ice. Ice cold AC. Lots of shopping/food within walking distance. All rooms ground floor.
