Ordered the Tao Hu Hor and vegetarian Spring Rolls (not fried). The entree consisted of fried tofu, jasmine rice, steamed broccoli, and a basil sauce.
The tofu was incredibly bland and had a watery texture despite being fried. The batter the tofu was deep fried in taste like plastic and also had the consistency of plastic. I’m pretty sure they took the plastic off of someone’s couch from the 80s, cut it up, rolled up the tofu in it, and then deep fried it. Couldn’t stomach the tofu so that’s going in the trash.
The “Basil Sauce” did not taste like there was any basil in it whatsoever. Aside from the that, the sauce was not good.
The peanut sauce for the Spring Rolls was entirely too salty. Like I could probably pour salt out of the container into a 16oz cup and drink AND still have consumed less sodium. Now I have to find an alternate sauce to eat with them. I think I have Tobasco. At the very least, maybe I can salvage the Spring Rolls since the entree was a complete bust.
Do not recommend. The host was nice and the food was warm. The restaurant appeared clean, but I also ordered to go. A waste of $22/23. I did not enjoy my...
Read moreI’ve been coming here for more than 8 years and it is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The food here is also amazing and has authentic Asian flavors. My favorite dishes to order from here are the Gai Prat Prik King (chicken and string bean dish) and the chicken Pad See Ew. I also love the Tom Kha Gai soup and usually order that as my appetizer. Many of my friends order the curry dishes as well and love them. I’m not the biggest fan of coconut milk in my curry so I don’t order it myself. There are also many other dishes that my friends and I have tried over the years and most of them are great. In the past few years, the Pad Thai noodles here have tasted less and less like Pad Thai and more like just soy sauce and noodles so I don’t recommend getting that here. Otherwise, the rest of the menu is pretty great!
Some tips for dining here. Always dine in if you can because they will give you free pickled cucumbers and they’re refreshing and delicious. They have a great lunch menu (picture included) with affordable prices and good...
Read moreI had a craving for Thai food. I miss the Thai food that my sister law (from Thailand) cooks when we see her. I ordered food from here on the Waitr app. When it was delivered,I was so ready to taste the flavors i know and love since I was a child. I was so disappointed.the Thai beef salad was smothered in sweet chili sauce, hardly any cilantro, lime? Fish sauce? The beef was overdone, the couple of pieces that were there and some parts were burnt. Soaking it in the sweet chili sauce didnt even help it. The Tom Kha Hai,again...i could taste the coconut, there was no spice(Thai food has kick)Where is the lime and fish sauce? It just had no flavor. The Po Pia Sod (spring rolls) were the ONLY thing that was right. This was the first time I have ever ordered from this restaurant because it had the word "Thai". Maybe if you guys do better in the future then I may order from you again. Right now,I just...
