Si Señor Taqueria — Restaurant in Hammond

My wife and I went to the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. We sat outside because the weather was nice. We were seated, given menus, and forgotten about for about 30 minutes. Our chips arrived and another 15 minutes went by before we gave our drink order. The drinks came put fairly quickly. Forgotten again. Our waitress finally came for the first time, apologized for her service, took our order and left. After a short wait, the food came out, but we didn't get the guacamole we ordered. The lady who brought the food left to get it and returned after we had eaten most of our meal. She asked if we wanted more chips, we said yes, and off she went...never to be seen again. Our waitress came back at the end of the meal and I told her about how poor the service had been - I wasn't mad, but I wanted her to know. She apologized again. She went to get us some more chips and refilled our drinks, but by the time she returned, we just wanted our check. I did leave a full tip, but I really wish I would have left it for the...

Terrible experience I just walked out of this rude place. When I walked in the hosted in the white vest looked at me as if I walked into the wrong place. 🙃 I asked where was the restrooms to wash my hands and just got a point 👉. Came back to my booth amd there was salsa and chips very standard. I was sitting waiting on a waitress to come take my drink order and meal selection. There were only three active tables being served. 10-12 minutes passes and till no waitress. They passed me over serveral times and waited on the others. I felt very unwelcome. I was clean and in business casual attire. That fact that I was the only black person there made me wonder what's the hell is going on!! There were serveral staff there that could have waited on me. Si senor in Hammond has upset me quite a bit. Firstly I order for lunch there for the first time ever patroning their establishment. Food order was missing the main ingredient. So I proceed to call and inform them to find some sort of resolution. The resolution they had for me was to leave my lace of business and come get what was missing. Now I’m not sure about all of you but I’m pretty sure the majority of us have one lunch so a second trip out is not possible. Of course it was paid with cash so nothing can be credited to my card. I chalk it up as a loss. I’m was offered for them to make it up to me on my next visit. Well on my first visit you got my order wrong and to top it off the food is not all that good.
