They will not let you launch/put SUP’s, kayaks, or any other non-motorized watercraft in here. Lifeguards will call the police if you attempt. We walked down the street near the boat launch and the life guard followed us until we passed the marina to make sure we didn’t launch here. Just a heads up. They also watched us inflate our SUP’s, get on our life vests, and lock the car before one of the life guards came over to tell us. During our visit, everyone still had plenty of room to enjoy the beach, water, and raft. The beach is clean, the water is clear, and the bathrooms are good for a public beach bathroom.
