Nice location for summer swimming, still regarding management - it is terrible. Apparently guys are looking for every slightest opportunity for lake closure even if hardly justified. Say it thunder detector whistles at 4. Like short rain that is over in 20 mins. You could be sure - they will close lake till the end of the day at 7. Let say it simply not a very hot day, still no thunder - lake closure - no apparent justification - it just seemed cold enough for them. If this is a private park, it should not show up this way on google maps and it would be nice if they put up a sign stating that it is only for town residents and their guests. Read morenice park behind a community lake. There is a playground, but I'm not sure if it is for members of the swim club. The public park is nice. There are 3 tennis courts and a basketball court. Several ball fields and a fishing pond with a dock. There is a beautiful 9/11 memorial with a path that leads to a nice shaded seating area.
