Bojangles — Restaurant in Harrisburg

I had forgotten that Bojangles chicken is delicious until I tried the food from this place recently. I last had Bojangles chicken before the pandemic and didn't have a good experience so I stayed away for a while. But for dinner I ordered a pickup order from the Bojangles app and the food did not disappoint. Be warned though that this place is better for lunch than dinner. I say that because I had ordered a 12 piece meal box and paid online through the app, but when I went to pick up the girl up front told me that they didn't have enough chicken to fill the order, because they cook small batches at night since it's so slow. I told them that I had already paid for this and I didn't know how to cancel since the app had already processed it, she said to call the app to do that. Now it was only 8pm and the store closes at 10pm, so I asked aren't you cooking any more chicken for dinner the night? Finally a senior staff / manager came and said that they can cook more chicken to complete the order. I had to wait 20 mins for my food, but she gave us a couple of free sodas while we waited. They didn't have sides we had ordered and wanted, so they gave us replacements. I appreciate the manager stepping in and helping us with our order, but it was not a pleasant experience before. I am grateful that we got our food that I had already paid for. Big lesson here is don't do online orders...

I usually don’t post reviews but I have to in this case. I indulge in Bojangles once a week, more or less. I discovered this Bojangles by accident and was stoked because my fries were fresh and the food was at the appropriate temperature.

The Bojangles I would frequent on North Tryon (no shade) would often give me cold fries and or the wrong order most of the times. I would combat that by asking for fresh fries and most times the fries would still be whatever they had and Luke warm/cold most times.

I’ve been eating at this Bojangles in Harrisburg for about 3 months now and I never have to ask for hot fries because they are ALWAYS hot and fresh. My egg and cheese biscuit is ALWAYS hot! The workers are always efficient, timely and professional at this location, no matter the time or shift.

Kudos to the everyone at this location all the way to the back of the house, to whomever is making the biscuits to whomever is taking care of the facility from a cleanliness prospective.

I will continue to drive to this location (which is in the opposite direction of where I’m typically going, just for the hot meal) to get my egg and cheese biscuit with a large fry and a large sweet tea. If I want to splurge a little bit, I may even ask for...

We stopped in around 7 at night on a Saturday. No customers were inside and we walked up to order. 3 employees just stared at us. After about 5 mins, one comes over, hits a few keys on register looks up at me and says "I dont know whats going on" and walks away. We should've just left but we stayed because we were so hungry. After another 5 minutes, eventually the manager comes in from outside and takes our order. He seemed to be frustrated at the kids for goofing off and not addressing all the drive through orders. But he made no attempt to apologize or, at least, acknowledge our wait. Of course, as others have stated, they were out of chicken and my son would have to wait. It's a shame that Bo's can't get their act together, the food is good, but the service lately had been so bad. I feel sorry for the manager who seemed to be the only one working. Cleanliness of dining area leaves a lot to be desired and my girls tell me the ladies room was pretty gross too. I should and the guy that came later and was behind us in line left.
