Metro Tower Apartments — Attraction in Harrison Township

Couldn’t wait to give my review.... I was a resident for almost 3 years...Had to stay quiet because I know how they work and my deposit would probably be even less if I posted a early review.... So where to start with this place.... Countless issues that are always difficult to get fixed.... The issue wasn’t with the maintenance workers just the lack of workers needed for the building... It just seems like they try to jab you with fees every chance they get.... They don’t care about the residents that live in their building... Lights through out the building would be out for weeks along with leaks on the main floor never being fixed.... Now there was one office lady I believe her name was amber... she was a blessing in that place... always helped me when the only office lady I think Shelby was her name was a absolute awful human being that seemed to literally get joy out of making everyone’s life as miserable as possible... I take my license plate off my car for 3 hours to go get a new one... and Shelby towed my car costing me 275$ to get back.... ( didn’t have any personal issues with her... if you check the place out ask any resident about Shelby the office lady and they will tell You how awful she is to everyone once they move in) Yet they can’t fix simple things around the building for weeks on end... but if you mess up as a resident it’s going to cost you big time..... I would see her talking to the tow guys in the morning before ruining someone’s day... laughing and enjoying her self.... I wouldn’t want my worst enemy living in this place... So please don’t even consider this place endless you absolutely have no where to go.. The only good thing about this place was the cost And location.... You better believe there is a reason it’s so cheap.... Not to mention on top of all of that My girlfriend and I had 5 or 6 different break in attempts (people would just check to see if your door was unlocked) during the time...

I lived here from 2015 to early 2017. The apartments are cheap, but that's the only positive thing I have to say. The staff is poor at keeping track of your rent payments, they wouldn't let me move into a 2 bedroom because I had like, a month where my payment was a day or 2 late, and they knew I was in an abusive relationship. They didn't care, or let me take him off the lease unless he signed off on it (which he refused). My boyfriend (at the time) had his car broken in to several times and there's no cameras in the parking lot so nothing was done about it. My car had several nails in it and had been keyed for no reason. People take the carport you pay for and they don't do anything about it, because sometimes they even "accidentally" assign another resident your parking space. It happened to me twice. People do drugs while they're at the pool in front of their kids. There was also black mold in my apartment when I lived there. I got my like 300 dollar security deposit back when I showed them the video of the black mold coming from the boarded down vent in the closet all the way down the rug in the living room and bedroom. The fire alarm goes off all the time and there's no way of getting it to stop unless the Fire Dept turns it off which usually took about 20 min no matter what time of day it was. So yeah... pretty crappy place to live...

This place is terrible. I've lived here for almost 6 years and the hallways either smell like urine or marijuana. The maintenance are unwilling to work. They have to fix things numerous times. Never actually gets fixed correctly and if you call they don't appear until around 2 weeks later. They wasted money to re-paint the building, when they should be worrying about more important things such as security cameras around the building. The back of the building is precarious due to the fact that there has been incidents involving people getting jumped, drug deals, fights, and even almost a murder. (Guy chased his wife/girlfriend outside with a knife/acuminated object). The office also claims they do background checks, but I've done scans in the area and at least five pedophiles showed up. The imbecilic thing about this atrocious place is that if you're infested with bedbugs or spiders they spray but you have to with your money. That is idiotic when they should be responsible for keeping this place clean. They used to be at least a 4 star place but after almost 3 years this place has turned to complete trash.
