An old campground converted for day use only. They now have small pavilions at some sites with more parking. We were there, on April 3rd for a quick picnic. The park is cleared from leaves, stick pickup should be done after the bathrooms are opened. Bring your bikes! walking shoes or whatever you wear for sports. There are great trails, basketball backboards as well as fab picnic spots. This is an excellent park for a quick picnic, kids will be active. The park has some charcoal grills scattered about.
