Great spot to visit the states of Kentucky Tennessee and Virginia at once. We found the lowest parking lot on the road and hiked in from there, but there are many different ways to get to this site from different trail heads so it depends on where your starting from, but from where we started it’s about a 1.2 mile hike one way, great trail conditions but it can be a little difficult for someone that isn’t physically fit. I’d recommend taking some water on the especially warmer days. I love it for the great hiking of it. Amazing not one of us had anything...
Read moreThis trail is easily accessible from Visitor Center. It is about 2.2 miles total. Going feels much longer as it is all up hill; there's about 900 feet of incline within that 1.1 mile. There is plenty of parking and is between the Visitor Center and Pinnacle overlook so a good route would be Visitor Center, Tri State Trail,...

Very nice parking and visitor buildings with very clean restrooms. Historical depictions and signage explain the exploration and expansion of the...
