Ok lets level the playing field. Responce to review from Gwendolyn Sherer. I'm the one you refer to as the cowboy with the mustach. There are a few things you happened to leave out of your review. First is how your husband butted in on anotber sale I was involved doing and lost because of your husband being rude and trying to sway the customer to something different while acting like a no it all big shot. The counter was very busy and your husband demended attention... and he wasnt buying! Next he made the coment when I wouldnt agree with him on how great one product was over another that the only people Rural King hired were people who didnt know anthing about guns. My responce to him was appropriate. I said, I suppose your right, I've only been in the firearm busines for 45 years. And then I walked away to help a customer that was buying not showboating for attention. In fact the lady I next help exclaimed how rude you were to me. I simply told her sometimes customers are like that how can I help you. The lady behind her then spoke up and said even so, I shouldnt have to take that. I said you saw I handled it I'll be glad to help you next. As soon as I was cought up I intentionaly went to my Assistant Store Manager Miranda and told her what had happened. She said, I know you do good work dont worry about it, I'll handle it if it becomes a problem. So I went back to my job of helping customers. Next, rather than dealing with the problem like an adult, you, not your husband, used the internet to respond I assume because you were embarrassed and new his behavior was rude and out of line. It's always easy to stab someone in the back using the internet. Sure no one can find you. But beleive me when I say if I could find you I would sue you for assaulting my character! Read moreWaited half an hour to purchase a handgun before another customer told me that you had to sign in, as the 1 clerk was busy with a customer. Signed in; "great"; I thought..Im next in line. Another customer comes down the next aisle after (I told him he better sign in there is only 1 clerk) he signs in.1st customer that was being helped left... cleark comtinues to make entries on computor,, shuffle papers , puts things away, calls on the man who was waiting before me...manager comes to help verify sale background check, then leaves. Clerk finishes that customers transaction, then calls to help the guy who signed in AFTER Me (mind you he hasnt even addressed the customers waiting in any way) bc he oly wanted a fishing license. He leaves. Then clerk calls on another man who had been waiting in corner for his paperwork...helps him which takes another 30 min, again the manager comes to verify vin#/background check. Finally calls all me. Trying to purchase a particulal gun the is in their flier & online. They dont hVe it in store! If the manager who kept coming & going wiuld have just stayed to help as a 2nd person, ir the vlerk would have said hello, what do you need. Read moreI don't shop here mainly due to it being expensive. But my husband bought a gun on the website and of course, it needed to be picked up and a background check needs to be done. We called and MADE SURE it was good to come up to pick a gun up for background check and that it could happen that night. Was assured by a woman on the phone who also reiterated it with someone else on the phone. She said just as long as you make it by close. Drove 40 minutes to get a nasty welcome from the the man behind the gun counter. He was helping others, which I totally understand. I'll wait. He was being nasty to another customer about his order confirmation. So I said oh boy I hope mine came in. He literally yelled over the counter, in front of the rest of the customers waiting that "your NOT getting your gun tonight!!!" OK that's a professional way to handle things. He was WAY out of line and rude as they come. Spoke with the manager whom really didn't care too much for wasting 1 hr 30 minutes of my time. I am so furious and embarrassed about the situation but will NEVER EVER return to this store ever again!! Also please don't reply with your copy and paste BS as it's very insincere and it's unprofessional. It doesn't help at all....
