It’s more the Septa’s review rather than the Colmar Station review. I have been using this station to travel to Center City Philadelphia for more than 25 years. The service, the Septa service has been deteriorating over the years. Now it’s absolutely awful. On October 27, 2025 I was leaving the Colmar station to Center City. I tapped in on 3:21 PM and started waiting on a platform. The train was delayed for 43 minutes and when the train arrived, it was a four car train, they opened just one door. All people from the platform started rushing toward this one door. The train attendant, young guy, was smirking. He didn’t say I’m sorry for your inconvenience, he scanned my card. When the train arrived at suburban station at 5:23, I was double charged. It’s not about extra $8.75. It’s a repetitive problem with septa.
Is Septa a failing company? Sucking taxpayers money. Major change in leadership? Rhetorical questions.
