The Blue Lagoon — Attraction in Hatteras Island

The owner is the sweetest woman and she is very knowledgeable about each piece in her shop and really all things on the island. I love this little store so much. Everything in there is locally made and the woman who runs it is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about all the artists/art in her store. She also sells these delicious hand-made truffles that are to die for. If you're looking for a unique gift from the islands then I cannot recommend this shop enough! My husband, daughter and I visited The Blue Lagoon. As soon as I walked in I felt the magic atmosphere. The woman who owns this is wonderful. We talked for quite awhile.
