As the sign says on the menu, “call in & order for faster pick up.” We ordered 2 subs at 1015am, asked if it was ok to order for them to be ready after 1030am (when they stop making breakfast). They told me they’d be ready at 1040am. I walk in at 1028am, line is quite long but I wait my turn, pay by 1038am. The cashier says my “order isn’t ready yet but the lady in back waved and said it’s underway.” About 15 min later, I see others leaving with their bag who placed orders AFTER me. I politely ask the status of ours. She said the second cook is making ours. I wait another 10 min. The cashier updates that the cheese hasn’t melted yet. At that point, our 4 yo, who has been waiting, is antsy in car and needing to go to bathroom. I tag team with my friend who is VERY upset. She walks in to a now-empty restaurant, asks what has taken so long when we called ahead and did every thing correctly. Female Cook in the back yells out, “if you can’t have some grace, carry your business elsewhere. I don’t know why people are bombarding us.” My friend tells her “we feel that 50 minutes of grace given to them to complete our order is courteous, we can’t place an order elsewhere because we are already running late to our event and you obviously have good food.” She said it was delayed because of grilled veggies on the sub but we asked for NO PEPPERS NO ONIONS! Imagine requesting grace while refusing to extend it. The irony. 50 min waiting to receive sandwiches is respectful & kind. We love supporting small business but the lashing out by this cook was disrespectful. I would have anticipated, “I’m sorry, you did wait longer than you should have. That should not have occurred. We ordered here then they missed our son’s order, we had to reorder it only for them to take forever to make a grilled cheese poor kid had to watch his whole family eat and when everyone was done when he finally got his food. Then when we got the sandwich the cheese was still cold except on the edges of the sandwich. If that wasn’t enough the cook decided she was going to be rude and give me attitude when I complained about what had happened. Absolutely obsurd. You don’t treat customers like that and shouldn’t be in business if you do. Also they never mentioned an upcharge for paying with a Card to me at all. Apparently there is one. We are never going back here. Awful experience.
The owner falsified the information below is not what happened. She decided to state absolutely appalling comments about me and my family. This is not what happened. She knows it. My wife is the one who ordered the sandwich for my son. I stood right there and heard her say it. Her employee Recalled us ordering the sandwich. And apologized for not having it on the order. The fact that she would go to length to try to defend her behavior is appalling, and I will never visit this place of business again. Especially when someone tries to publicly shame, a customer they were rude too. Nothing I have posted as a lie everything the owner has posted his false. To our surprise, everything was either burnt, completely filled with grease, old, dried out, even the hot dog was shriveled up, and tasted so nasty none of us could eat it. We called and wanted to talk to a manager and was able to speak with the actual owner. When telling her what had happened with our food, she became irate and aggressive. She yelled and cursed at me. I was in complete and utter shock as this has never happened to me. After going back and forth, she told me she would refund our money. I asked how do I know she would refund us and she said she was an honest person. I told her that the way she was speaking to me didn't make me think she was an honest person. She told me that I could always dispute it and laughed. I checked my bank account this morning and saw that she did charge me and her being "honest" was a complete lie!
