Kumon Math and Reading Center of Havertown — Attraction in Haverford Township

When my son started 1st grade he was having trouble doing his math homework. So I decided to enroll him in kumon since one of my workmates told me her daughter was doing great in math and reading since she started the kumon program. Thank God I did because my son's is doing so well now, his math grades are excellent in school, he does his math homework by himself, his speed and skills in math are awesome. The teachers at this location are so patient with the kids, and know how to get the kids involved and make them fall in love with the program. I am so glad I made this decision and I am satisfied with the progress and and level my son at, so we're going to be adding reading...

So glad my son has enrolled at Kumon! My son has improved in both reading and writing within just 8 months! He went from developing in language arts to proficient. At times he felt overwhelmed with both school work and his Kumon assignments. However, the Kumon instructors have been so wonderful adjusting the amount of work he now receives. He still gets the amount of work needed for practice and growth, but now there are no meltdowns at home. He is so proud of himself when he moves up to next reading level, as so am I. This was a much worthy adjustment and benefit to my lil guys...

We liked the individualised progression path at Kumon for both of my kids. The lead instructor is very professional and committed towards student success. The thorough worksheets on each of the topic and the time bound practice is such a saviour for parents with limited time and resources.
