Good evening Google Family. I have visited this location before, many many years ago,. I decided to bring my old electronics here to be recycled. Boy what a job that was!!! My equipment is heavy. It includes a subwoofer, keyboards, a phone, a power supply and speakers. I am so glad that they are out of the house!! A young lady associate told me where to place the items after I told her why I was there. She told me to leave them in a cart near the register and then she told me only a few items, like 5. I had more than five and I brought every one of them in there and placed them in the bag. I would have preferred to just leave them in a recycling bin in the back like most places do, like Best Buy. Best Buy, you don't have to go thru an associate, just come and place your used equipment in the container and leave. I prefer Best Buy's policy. Then she had to ask me did I have a rewards card. I did but when I put my number in, it didn't come up. Then she asked if I wanted to sign up to get points. I really was not at all interested or thrilled with that option. I told her my name, email and phone number. I have no idea why places like this, don't allow you to place your own info into the system. They should have a kiosk set aside for ambitious people who want to do their own thing and for the lazy people, an associate can do it for them. I received points, they were not on the sales slip and then she told me I could go to the web or the Staples app, When I go to sign up, if they ask more questions, like my address, then I am going to say forget it and just deal with Best Buy for more of my used electronic equipment. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to this staples tonight to bring back a ink cartridge I bought may 11th. When I put in my printer it said not compatible. The manager Rebecca asked for my receipt and I said I do not have it but before I could tell her it is under my account with my phone number she looks at it and says the date is wrong on the cartridge and box. I said we'll this is how I bought it. I had the cartridge in my hand that I used to match it up. She said very rudely I am not taking this back it has the wrong date. I said so you think I am lieng and she was throwing her hands up and was like I can't with this anymore and took off from behind the counter and just left me there without even being able to explan anything or to ask her how I can get the receipt off my account. She was the rudest most unprofessional manager I have ever seen. While I was waiting in line she was rude to another customer that was in there. She was talking to him with no respect and was yelling at him because instead of walking out tne store after he purchased something he wanted to ask a question to a employee and she was mad and wouldn't allow him to walk through the store to find the employee. She really should not be working with customers and definitely not managing any store. I went to a different staples in spring field and they were professional and help me get my receipt and exchanged the wrong cartridge. I have never had someone act that way before in a store that you are managing customers. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wish I had read some of the reviews prior to coming into the store. I would not have went to this location. I needed a banner for my daughter who is graduating from college. When I came in I explained to Noel what I would like and she informed me that it would take around 5days. I also explained that I was not really computer savvy and if she could help me. She told me that if she helped me that it would cost double for the banner. I told her that was not a problem I was willing to pay the extra cost. She gave me some suggestions and told me that I could use a computer across the counter and work on my banner. (she was not trying to help me). After she saw that I was willing to do this in the store. She told me it would be best to work on this at home and play with the computer . I originally had told her that if she helped me that I was more than willing to pay for it as she pointed out that she was a design major so it shouldn't take a long time. But again the help never came. The store was not crowded at all the two people that came in I told her that she can wait on them. Needleless to say, my banner was never done and I left out with her telling me to try at home. I went to Office Depot which is 45 minutes from them and they helped me right and I got my banner that same day. I will never use this Staples again. Very poor...
