05/05/2025 (Mon) This park features several lava tubes, ancient fishponds — one of which is sometimes referred to as the “Tickle Pond” — and archaeological sites with petroglyphs carved into the rocks. It also provides pedestrian access (though it takes over 10 minutes on foot) to the beautiful beach near the resort. We visited the Lava Tube Shelter (Cave), which felt mysterious and atmospheric, and the beach was truly stunning. Next time, we’d love to explore the other sites as well. It really feels like there’s so much more waiting to...

The ponds, history and beauty of this place are worth the visit. Nice place to get in brisk walk or just enjoy the beauty. If you find the "secret pond" or "queens bath" do not forget to NOT wear sunscreen in it, including "reef safe." It has a negative affect on the PH, fish inside and the science I don't understand haha. please be mindful and respectful of the local significance of this area. Public bathroom is locating in the outside rear of the Ewa Parker Cottage. (Green building...

This place is a little gem! Gorgeous views at all parts of the journey. If you like lava fields and lava tubes this is a place for you. Not into those but would rather enjoy time close to water. With the ocean and fish ponds this place doesn't let you down. A great place to spend the afternoon. Beach access is also available for those who want to spend time at the ocean. Highly recommend visiting this place if you are on the Big...
