Woe to you, nonprofit business staff, leaders of this commercial business, and owners, hypocrites! You clean the outside, but inside you're full of greed (Matthew 23:25). You love public praise and the best seats (Matthew 23:5-7). Your stages, loud bands, and emotional manipulation aren't training; they're entertainment. You puff yourselves up, acting like God with empty deeds. You are the vipers Jesus warned about, blind to your pride, scoffing at His words, and twisting them blasphemously. Such individuals are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as Christ's apostles, just as Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Their end will match their deeds (2 Corinthians 11:13-15).
Unfruitful Lives and Deception The Lord searches hearts (Revelation 2:23). Light exposes your evil deeds, but you hate it (John 3:19-20). By your fruits, we know you; a good tree cannot bear bad fruit (Matthew 7:16-18). Your fruit is dead and self-seeking, seen in your lavish homes and cars. You steal from God, forsaking the needy. Your foundation is man-made rules that prevent aid. True believers give freely, but you hypocrites hoard what's meant for all. Financial Exploitation Jesus was clear about not asking for money to set His followers apart from false teachers. You continually, joyfully break this very command weekly. Scripture warns against peddling God's word for gain (2 Corinthians 2:17). You think godliness is a means to profit (1 Timothy 6:5), making merchandise of souls (2 Peter 2:3). Like Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5:1-11), you deceive by using Kingdom funds for personal luxuries, not the mission. You are lovers of money (1 Timothy 3:3; 2 Peter 2:14)! Your condemnation is not asleep (2 Peter 2:3). Your leaders judge for bribes, priests teach for a price, and prophets divine for money, yet claim God is with them (Micah 3:11). Neglect of the Needy You refuse to help the needy and shun those Christ called us to serve. You avoid the poor, considering them beneath you. You persecute the truth. Pure religion is visiting orphans and widows in affliction (James 1:27). Truly, we say to you, oh false teachers of the antichrist, the King will tell you, "Depart from me, you cursed... I was hungry, thirsty, a stranger, naked, sick, in prison, and you did not help me" (Matthew 25:41-43). You parade wealth while neglecting the needy, unlike early believers who shared so none lacked (Acts 2:45; 4:34). You are shepherds feeding only yourselves (Ezekiel 34:2-3), thanking God in your ivory towers for not being like the poor. False Foundations and Division You rely on human laws and logic, making service burdensome and rejecting God's commands. You preach traditions, voiding God's Word with your rules (Matthew 15:6; Mark 7:13), binding heavy burdens on others while lifting no finger (Matthew 23:4). Your wisdom is earthly and demonic (James 3:15). Your worship is deceitful. Your foundation is on sand, not God's Word. You operate in division, scoffing, warring, and competing for money by filling seats. Alignment with the Enemy Your god is the devil; lies are your language. Jesus said, "You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires" (John 8:44). Your deceitful financial dealings align with the father of lies. Your worship serves the spirit of the Antichrist. You worship mammon as your idol (Matthew 6:24), marked by the beast in thought and deed. You create a god promising worldly gain, ignoring Christ's call for self-denial and heavenly treasure (Matthew 16:24; 6:19-21). You encourage divination with manipulating lights, sounds, and smells for sensationalism, not the pure gospel (Colossians 2:23). Your spirit is deceit, the spirit of antichrist (1 John 4:3). Certain men have crept in ungodly, denying Christ (Jude 1:4). Final Condemnation Therefore hear this warning: You serpents, you brood of vipers (Matthew 23:33)! Your condemnation is just. You are without excuse. Your human justification or excuses mean nothing in the eyes of the Risen Lord. Repent to Christ and forsake...
Read moreVisited Living Stones Church with my daughter who moved to Kona this Sept. I was very impressed with the diversity in folks that attend. There were young surfer kids ranging from 7 to in their teens, the older surfers have taken them under their wings. There were folks from all over the world ranging from young to old. This is the Body of Christ as it should be. My wife and I are now back in Kona for a month and looking at working with YWAM. (Youth With A Mission) Mercy Ships. Unfortunately a Mission has gone horribly wrong and a boat headed to Christmas Island capsized in a storm and one crew member is still unaccounted for, so we are grieving as a body this tragedy Many YWAMMERs attend LSC.. It is a great thing to have a place we can feel welcome at interact with so many. The outreach ministries of LSC are an testimony of the way these folks reach out to others. If you like architecture and history, the facility it incredible, Located right on the ocean it is a perfect setting for a Hawaii Church of Living Water called the Living Stone. They have a large overflow area as the attendance is larger than their capacity. In an age of dead churches, it is refreshing to see what can be done to spread the Good News of The Gospel of Jesus Christ. Hats off and thanks for all you...
Read moreI was baptized at this church 10 years ago after living a secular life, fir most if my adult life. I can tell you that Pastor Bill's sermons are compelling ;they make you think ;they make you reevaluate life ;they give you a different perspective ;they make you ask questions , and as a result of that I have come back to my roots in the Christian faith. As a result of his brilliant sermons, I have wanted to get more involved with the church. I found the small groups to be a source of tremendous support to me during a very difficult time of my life ,after losing my husband . I cannot thank God enough for bringing me to this church and for opening the door to my healing and my commitment to Him and the Word. A prodigal story with a joyful ending, no doubt. Thank you Jesus for leading me to Living Stones. Over the last 3 years, I have made friendships of a lifetime with brothers and sisters in Christ. It feels very much like home to return to island, reconnect, and rejoin my group ....
