#323 is a lovely, large, 2BR 2BA unit with direct ocean views. Although not quite as pristine as the VRBO/Vacasa listing photos make it appear, this unit is everything advertised. The kitchen was well appointed and we had all the pots, pans, plates, gadgets, and containers we needed. The icemaker kept up with us. The lanai is large, directly overlooking the rock/sand beach. We watched turtles and seabirds for hours. You have front row seats to the sunset every night. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms had adequate closet and drawer space. The bathrooms were simple and clean, again with more than adequate storage. The unit is a bit far away from the elevator, so if you have a mobility-challenged person in your party, take this into consideration. There is a little road noise from Ali'i drive, but was completely blocked out when the front door was closed and the sliding glass doors were opened to let in the magical sound of the ocean waves. I would rent this unit again. The complex is quiet, adequate parking, small but clean pool and hot tub, and you don't have to try to find a parking spot when you go to Da Poke Shack, which you will undoubtedly do several times when you are staying there. Two friends and I recently spent 3 nights at the Kona Bali. We really liked the place. It was clean and relatively spacious for a 2 bedroom condo. Our favorite part was spending lots of time each evening sitting or eating on the balcony which overlooks the Pacific ocean. On the first night we had difficulty lowering the bamboo curtain on the balcony, however a great guy named Coy who works for the rental company came up and fixed it and taught us how to work it easily. Probably our only complaints are 1) all the cupboards in the kitchen were already full with kitchen items (glasses, plates, pots, pans, and misc. items) so there was really no room except the counters for non-refrigerated food we purchased for our stay.
