Port of Hilo — Attraction in Hawaii

I see how others have rightfully mentioned below regarding the black security guard lady being extremely rude. It is the 100% truth. She was rude to my family and I as we got off the cruise ship and didn’t know where we were going.

She shouted at us for not walking on the pathway right as we got off. It was our first time at the port. Rather than calmly guiding us the right way, we were spoke to as cattle. She was rude to my father who’s a senior, till the end of the pathway even when we weren’t responding back and had apologized for not reading the sign. She kept shouting in front of everyone and didn’t let go till the end. Which was very disrespectful and embarrassing for my family.

Having being said the port authorities really need to check on her behavior because she’s very aggressive for tourists who encounter such unpleasantry on their cruise holidays. No one wants to be spoken...

The port is basic and not too busy hosting I believe not more than 2 cruise ships, situated in the close neighbourhood of the airport and of the town centre doesn’t have too much to offer. Llandscape of Hilo, on the Big Island of Hawaii, is diverse. Beaches of black, grey, brown and white sand contrast with mountains and dramatic waterfalls. Worst port I've ever been to! Not enough signs to direct you to the shuttle pickup for rental car budget/avis. Security personnels were very rude and not helpful at all. Specifically, the female " dark skinned" security personnel named " Noe". She treated the passengers with disrespect who were asking help. It was a complete chaos!
