Island Organic Catering Made My Wedding Unforgettable!

I cannot recommend Island Organic enough! I reached out to them just three weeks before my wedding, feeling completely lost about the menu, and they went above and beyond to help me. They were so kind and helpful, guiding me through menu options and suggesting what would work best for my event. They even accommodated a special request for chicken Alfredo pasta with garlic bread and Caesar salad, which was such a personal touch.

What stood out the most was how they worked with me on pricing, understanding my budget and making everything as cost-effective as possible. The entire process was so smooth—she was amazing on the phone, patient with all my questions, and constantly reassuring.

On the day of the wedding, they delivered the food to Pahoa, and everything arrived warm, fresh, and ready to serve. My guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious it was—it was absolutely bomb.com! I was a bit nervous about not having a taste test (destination wedding nerves!), but Island Organic completely exceeded my expectations.

I was so thrilled to finally see an all organic food truck being that I have been on a strict organic diet for 12 years. I am also vegan and was happy to see they had about 4 things that I could order from their menu (although I was hoping for more options). The lady was very friendly and nice. I noticed they offered a lot of greasy food dishes on the menu which was surprising to see for an all organic establishment. (Typically organic food is on the cleaner side, dish choice wise).

I ordered the veggie sandwich which was fresh and good, but I feel it could have been way better for $16. The veganaise and hummus was scraped on the bread and was barely there so it really tasted like only toasted bread and veggies. Very dry. I ordered onion rings because I haven't had any fries or onion rings in over 10 years and wanted to give them a shot. Of course, it's deep fried so it was super greasy (oil gushing in mouth with each bite). I regretted that decision after the fact, but that was my bad. I wish I would have ordered a side of salad instead. But aside from this, it was tasty enough but I'm not sure if I'd be back again. After I finished the meal, I felt that it was overall good...

Most sweet natured people ever, 🥰 great customer care and service, LOVED the farm grown food, the cookies, and ginger ale are delicious!! My kids said 10/10 for their awesome chicken sandwich! 👌🏽 We got some fries (especially love the cassava ones,) plus their breaded and deep fried green beans, with their homemade garlic honey dipping sauce which is holy amazing 🍯 🤩 My teen son was like this is how I actually enjoy eating green vegetables mom!! ☺️ It feels fantastic to support local, organic cuisine, small family business, and local farmers… I literally go to their food truck every time I’m in Hilo with an extra 10 minutes.
