did i go to a different place than everyone else. 4.3? really?!? I been having a hard time finding saimin on the island since i got here, i know crazy. having trouble finding saimin, but yes, it hasn't been as easy as you'd think. any way, i decided on OFK cause it was 4.3 and had good reviews. We walked in, its an odd little place but I've had some of the best meals in places that were way worse looking. i asked if they served saimin.....that became a whole thing cause i think they thought i was saying salmon. ok, that's cleared up, they do serve saimin.....incidentally, their menu reads saimein which i suppose is technically right but not right at the same time. the saimin was awful. first of all, they're not using proper saimin noodle. its really wonton noodle, which i love when I'm having wonton noodles soup but its not saimin. plus, the noodles were overcooked. the cardinal sin for any true noodle lover. my wife had the hamburger....don't ask. super inexpensive yet still not worth it.. $3.95 for the burger, but the combo(canned soda and fries) was $8.95. not awful but the pricing is odd. look at the other combo prices. her hamburger was ordinary. tasted like a frozen patty and fries. i was wildly disappointed by my saimin and maybe the rest of the menu is amazing to garner such a great rating but I certainly didn't have the same experience.

Nice little hole in the wall place. Family owned. Food is amazing. We stopped by and a local was raving about this place as we walked by. So we just had to stop in. Use cash and leave a tip to support this family! 🙏 We ordered the garlic chicken. It comes with white rice and a macaroni salad. It was so good the garlic chicken was perfectly cooked lightly breaded but not soggy and amazingly flavorful. I also had the crab rangoons and omg they were the best rangoons of my life. Most places skimp on the crab not this place the seafood flavor was abundant and you could see the chunks. So good and perfectly fried. If you are stopping by from the cruise port this is the best place to go on the way to the beach!

Ocean Front Kitchen might be a little out of the way but it is worth the time to get there. The food is fantastic & portions are large. We had garlic chicken & chicken katsu. 😋 Be careful not to miss it as you drive by, it was the only reason I had not stopped here sooner. There is no place to eat there but we parked at a nearby beach. What a wonderful way to spend a Friday evening.

I don't understand WHY, they don't learn to speak better English, and have a more cheerful hospitality personality! Or at least hire a worker, who does speak clear English? Went once, ordered our food to takeout, and waited. While waiting, a nice lady kupuna came in to order. The owner seemed to not understand the customer's order, even when the customer literally pointed to the written menu (by the way, they have it written all over their walls; terribly unprofessional)! The customer became embarrassed, her son came in impatient because the transaction was taking so long, and they just left! The owner didn't show any reaction to what happened. What a turn off. Our food was ok, but I couldn't enjoy it because I knew the other Aunty who couldn't order, left embarrassed and hungry. We...
