I always come here, and it's great but the only thing I hate it's that there's always a group of men near where the statue is, and they always hang out in there. It wouldn't bothered me if they wouldn't have stating problems. I was trying to go for a run with my children, and one of the guys was trying to hit on me. I was wearing pants and a sweater not trying to cause attention. After 3 laps around the park I got tired of it and flip him off and went home. In my opinion he was onto something maybe alcohol, or high but just be careful with your kids if you go to this park. Always supervise them. I don't understand why people think the park it's a night club. Other than that, I love how much shade there is. The library it's next to it. No restrooms. There's a running track of cement. The playgrounds are quite old but practical. No sand. There's a basketball, baseball and tennis court. There's plenty of grass area. It has picnic areas....

Lots of open space, picnic tables, a couple of tennis courts, a basketball court - that is quite popular, a baseball diamond where games are common, a community center and library. There is a walking path around the park, but that path is quite treacherous because it is very uneven as tree roots have pushed it up in places. The park is usually quite clean. There was homeless throughout the bathrooms were on the other side weren't the cleanest but it a public park with homeless. There is a few parking spot otherwise everything is on the street.
