Yummy — Restaurant in Hayward

I've been a loyal customer here since childhood, but the experience has taken a sharp downturn. Prices continue to rise while the restaurant itself hasn't been updated in decades the interior is outdated, it's hard to see where all that revenue is going. I'm also not sure why each time I enter they seem annoyed and all look at each other and speak in their language. Even worse, the prices are different each time even though I order the same thing most of the time. One of my go-to dishes is the Hunan Beef with extra onions; twice now I've been charged for the onions without receiving them. When I politely pointed this out, the server laughed and walked away leaving me embarrassed.

I'm saddened to let this place go, but the recent customer service, rising prices, inconsistent charges, and even rumors of roaches have driven me away. I truly hope they address these issues. If you cared about your customers you...

I ordered 3 small party trays that costed $188 in total. Food was bland. The chow mein i ordered has no taste. The chicken wings had no flavor whatsoever. The pork chops were heavily breaded with no crisp nor flavor. There were more veggies ( onions & jalapenos ) than actual meat. To add insult to injury, they added a ton of cabbage as the first layer on both chicken wings & pork chops so it can give the appearance of as if it was filled to the top. Not worth it whatsoever, take your hard earned money elsewhere.

January 2,2025 my sister & I went to lunch & ate at YUMMY for the 1st time . Service was great, staff was very friendly, helpful & the food was delicious. It was the best sesame chicken & fried rice ever. Broccoli beef was cooked just right so broccoli was still firm & not soggy. I loved the bbq pork as well. Was fairly priced & helpings were large. My family that tasted my leftovers liked it so much we are having YUMMY CHINESE again tonight & trying other dishes & more sesame chicken.
