Fresh World — Attraction in Herndon

April,24-2024. Food items are gone up in price everywhere but I didn't expect that Fresh World would be leading in high prices. For example yellow mango each is $2.59and bought two just to find out they are sour and black spots in them. And returning or refund is never easy here. Not a good situation for customers. I am not very sure but I believe it's prices are bit cheaper than Giant and Safeway though the choices and brand names are very different. Mainly all kinds of spices and such are available here along with Afghani freshly delivered bread everyday or so.

Don't we all know the prices went up 2x , 3x times on so many food products. This store used to stack 20 or 25 lb flour bags upto the ceiling including rice but now there is not even a single one available in over two months. And hard to find the same Indian brand flours anywhere. Also the fresh green and red 🌶️ chillies are up from $2.99 to $4.99 and red $3.99 to $6.99. Desi brand yogurts are gone up from $3.45 to $5.60 and larger size $8.99. You name it any of the products and the prices are hiked up 200% to 300% ! This is bad and it's going to get worse because people are sleeping on it or they just don't remember what were the prices a month and two months ago. Very few of the cashier's speak or understand any English and very few friendly if any. Lots of items have no price tags under their shelf that is another way of jamming the price radar alerts to let you just pick up your usual items. It knowing what's the price. This store without a doubt is the busiest , money making store but the regard for the people and their money they take in is clearly reflected in the price and attitudes. There are lots of choices at this store when it comes to fruits and vegetables and other imported products so going to Giant or other stores is like wasting time. Half of the items on list you will never find at other stores. So ! No choice but to keep going back to the same place. Instead of going to two or three different stores to nearly complete the grocery list. Also I came across a very good lady, a Pakistani woman while I was looking at mangoes. She mentioned the quality not being as good as we have seen mangoes elsewhere and for this kind of price ! Guess what ! Her husband saw her talking to me and came running towards her and he surely did not want her to even talk to anyone while his mother followed him too. That was a very shameful behavior on part of the man. I feared the well being of the woman and told her nice talking to you take care while her husband told her to follow him. I wonder if she is ok and doing well. I hate stupid jealous people who hold their other half, husband or wife as some slave. Not even free to say hi or have a conversation. Why bring them out or to USA if you are going to hold them hostage . It's sad to see that and dangerous for such women living in some kind of forced slavery. The most treacherous people I know are Pakistani people. I lived and grew up among them. Never seen such a Good Forsaken nation of people like these. Now you have a little 👀...

I recently had an incredibly disappointing encounter at the FreshWorld market, which left me with a sour taste in my mouth. To my dismay, there were no price tags on some of the products, making it incredibly difficult to determine the cost of items. As if that wasn't frustrating enough, some of the employees, including the shift supervisor or manager, displayed a shocking level of rudeness.

Needless to say, this experience has left me with no desire to return to this particular location. I strongly urge you to steer clear of FreshWorld market as well. Instead, I recommend exploring alternatives such as Lottie or Hmart, where you can expect a more pleasant and customer-friendly...

Fresh World certainly does not deserve to have the word "fresh" in its name anymore. There was a time you would walk in and the produce was fresh, full of variety and affordable. That is certainly not the case anymore. Tonight when I walked in, it smelt like rotting fish. As much as I wanted to buy fresh fish, I avoided the seafood area to avoid the stench. Then I walked into a broken glass bottle of juice on the floor and almost cut my foot. No one seemed to care, and there was no one to get help from. And I just paid $18 for a bag of half rotten cherries!! I understand that covid brought tough times upon everyone, but this place has become hazardous...
