Kroger — Attraction in Herrin

Really like Kroger as a whole. Went there this morning. There was two registers open with very long lines of full shopping carts Went to self checkout. The eggs I bought rang up at $9.99. It was supposed to be $6.49 on sale. The lady in charge said they weren’t in the sale bill and said she couldn’t believe I was buying eggs at $9.99. I said I’m not. They’re on sale $6.49. She said she couldn’t find the sale and couldn’t go check and had no one to check. Did I still want them for $9.99. I said no I want the $6.49 sale price. Once again she couldn’t believe I was buying eggs at that price. I said how about I go get the sign and bring it to show you. She said sure. I went back to the eggs and brought the sign back with me. She said yes it says they’re on sale but the fine print says that’s over on 10/15. And there’s no one there to take the signs down. She changed the prices to reflect the sale price again saying she couldn’t believe I was buying them. I left after paying and wasting a good 20 minutes of my time justifying my purchase to...

I thought they were good at first it's just full of disrespectful employees that tried to scare me getting loud I showed nothing but respect I left my trash back with the checkout lady and told her I'm gonna leave this here till I'm done so they wouldn't think I was stealing I get all my groceries and end up seeing that she threw it away or let someone take it, I had to carry my groceries home in small shopping bags all the way from the store I will never do that again employees seems like they just where mad bacuse they dont wanna work so they complain and treat customers terrible they should all be replaced they obviously don't wanna be there so the best Kroger can do is get employees that do wanna be there...

I wouldn't even give it that 1 star i would give it a half a star and that's being generous. I live right down the street from this Kroger. First time I went there it seemed alright. The employees weren't very helpful. Second time I was there there's always an issue with the self checkouts and it won't let you do anything until an employee comes over. Final and last time I went there today . I went to self check out cause registers always very long lines. Again register an assistant is on the way. I got skipped over 2 times. They helped people that came after me. I asked if I could get some help. I should have gotten the ladies name she was very rude. I will never be back and also your...
