No Blade Left BehindNo Blade Left Behind
TLDR: Bought two bracelets. One from store, one custom order. Both had problems. Confused & frustrated. Not a bad place to get good jewelry but might be a rough experience. FULL: Mixed feelings here, because I’ve seen their other work & it looks great, but my experience has not been the same as other great reviews. Was not planning on a review but I’m a little bothered. So to start, I’ve been wanting to buy a nice Cuban Link bracelet for years. Finally had the money to. I went to Miami earlier this year & did my research, which led me to contacting Daniel Jewelry. Since I was in town I went to the store to buy. I didn’t realize they mostly do custom work, which was really cool, but they did have a little bit of supply in the store. I traded in an old bracelet & chain, added some cash & bought a 18k 7mm bracelet from the selection they had. I was really happy because their prices seemed fair, at least compared to the area I live. Anyway after seeing more reviews I noticed the bracelet I bought from them wasn’t particularly crafted as well as some of the other I’ve seen people purchase. I mean it’s not huge issues, but the bracelet has noticeable weld marks, hangs really twisted (not a big deal), & had a slight ding in one of the links. All things that can be overlooked but it was disappointing compared to the other reviews I saw. I assumed it was because maybe those people put a custom order in, maybe mine was just an extra that didn’t turn as good & that’s why it was in the store & for a decent price šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø Idk just assuming. Decided to try again and this time I placed a custom order. The wait was long, about 3 1/2 months, including them pushing the date back 3 or 4 times but I stayed patient. Also had a couple of not-great customer service moments. As mentioned by other reviewers, that girl that answers is not the best person to talk to, but there’s a guy that answers and he’s pretty cool, way more helpful and efficient. Finally received it, was about a week ago. Can’t even make this up, after the long wait, multiple links had dings or uneven edges, not huge but definitely noticeable, called the store & they told me I could send it in to be fixed. I’ve been considering sending it back but I really don’t want to have to wait again, especially considering it should’ve never came like that. Plus going back & forth in the mail carries the risk of getting lost. But to be fair, all the other details were great, weight was good, size was good, lock was good. Only problem was the dings in the links. Maybe unfair expectations, but was hoping that with it being a custom order it would come in perfect but…not the case 😤. So now despite having some cool gold bracelets, I’ve been let down twice in the quality overall. Then just yesterday a friend looked at my bracelet (the first one I bought from inside the store) & asked me why it had silver marks, I was confused because, well, it’s 18k gold. Sure enough on the end of some of the links the gold has this odd silverish color. Never seen anything like this, I know it’s real gold but what the heck is going on? Could’ve been something I did but I honestly couldn’t explain why this is happening. So now I have a bracelet from them where some of the links are discolored, and another (brand new, not my fault) bracelet that came with dings in the links. I own other gold jewelry and never had these issues. Going to a high end local jeweler to see if we can get these things back to glory, but sheesh, how frustrating! Especially after the money spent & time spent. I mean, their links when done right are really beautiful. If I lived in Miami, I would probably give them another order one day but I can’t afford to play mail games right now. Really this review is just to be aware that it’s kind of a toss up. Their stuff is authentic & I’ve seen them do great work. But the whole experience might end up being a hassle/headache just to buy jewelry. So if you’re patient & not a nitpicker the way I am, then you probably won’t be as disappointed as I am. Didn’t post all photos, only the main ones.

I was looking for a new chain since my old chain got retired. I wanted a Cuban so I watched alot of YouTube videos and saw Daniel’s Jewelry was the best in the game when it came to Cuban chains. Checked out the website and called, I talked to a rep for 10-15 mins about a 8mm, 10k, 22in with a sleek lock and my initials on the sleek lock. The quote for the down payment was sent and paid on August 21st. They also texted me so I was in contact with a rep when I had questions. They responded in a timely fashion. I paid the rest off on Sep 12th. On Oct 11th was when I received my chain. It came FedEx, packaged properly and in a Daniel’s Jewelry box. The chain was inside the DJ box and wrapped in a DJ paper to protect it and once I opened it……..MANNNN the initial reaction I got from seeing the chain was crazy!! The tight links, the quality of work, the weight of the chain, my initials on it……crazy!! I weighed it, measured it, hang straight test and it all was legit. I had my initials on the sleek lock so it made me look closer….i saw it had a crack on the sleek lock. Dont worry, customer service was on point. I contacted them and told them. In a day they had a shipping label sent. In about 2 weeks, it was back to me (Oct 28) and it looked even better than before. Shiny and a fixed crack (I’m assuming came from welding the initials on). Either way, no issues on their part and they got it back to me. Overall I’m highly satisfied on my first cuban, not only that, it’s exactly what I wanted and they made that happen. If you can’t wait on the 5-6 week time frame, don’t bother buying. If you do, it’s worth the wait for this quality. The links are tightly made, no kinks! Def will buy again now that I know the customer service is top tier. This thang heavy on my neck too haha. Thanks to Daniel and crew that worked on my chain!

Earlier this year, my husband told me that he wanted a Miami Cuban Link chain for his birthday. I started doing my research on this chain and I even visited some of the jewelry stores here in New York City. I went to two popular known stores located in the Diamond district who are supposed to be known for having Miami Cuban Link chains. I won’t name any names; however, I was not impressed by any means during my visits. Both stores were trying to over charge me, and I do not believe that I would get the best quality buying from them. Miami Cuban Link chains are handmade and need to be done by a very skilled jeweler. When holding the chain up, it should always hang straight with no twists and or turns.

When I realized that I was not going to get the quality here in New York, I started doing heavy research, I googled and watched many YouTube videos to be educated on the product and process. THANK GOODNESS, I came across Daniel Jewelry Inc. This company is in Hialeah, FL which is in Miami. Why not go directly to the source for your Miami Cuban Linked chain? Chances are, if you buy your Miami Cuban Link from locations such as New York, these jewelry stores are purchasing them from somewhere else because I doubt highly that they are making these chains themselves. In addition, they are charging the consumer more money for the product because they must outsource the merchandise.

Daniel Jewelry Inc. made my husband a handmade Miami Cuban Link chain, which he received for his birthday. It took about three to four weeks to complete but it was worth it! My husband decided to have a Miami Cuban Link chain made for me for our Anniversary. I recently received it and I absolutely LOVE IT!!! It’s a beautiful chain, a real show piece! The quality and workmanship of Daniel Jewelry Inc. is incredible! The presentation was also lovely. We received our chains in a beautiful wooden box and my box has lights in it. You will not be sorry if you choose to purchase from them. I worked with Robert and David and they were both patient and accommodating each time I called them; extremely professional.

Obviously, they do many other types of jewelry too! However, if you are looking to purchase a Miami Cuban Link Chain, I strongly recommend that you check them out. On another note, I found their prices to be fair. They didn’t over charge me nor my husband for our chains. They are not a fly by night business; therefore, there is a comfort knowing that if I have any problems with my purchase, I can reach out to them directly. For me, it’s very important when making such a high dollar amount purchase that there is accountability.

Thank you again Robert and David for a job...

Ordered 14k 3mm Cuban Link. I was called and updated and the order was shipped out actually ahead of the expected 5-6 weeks. Awesome. Unfortunately what arrived was a 10k 3mm Cuban Link. Looked and felt beautiful though, nice weight to it but it wasn’t what I ordered and of a much lesser value. Your website says each piece is personally checked for quality and correctness before it’s shipped so not sure how that slipped through the cracks. Called them up and was able to return it by FedEx the next day, but seemed like they did not care about their mistake or like I was lying. Representative told me it would be shipped out the day they received it. Had to call to see what was going on and was told it would be another 4 weeks. Finally got a call from someone else saying they would ship it the following day. The 14k 3mm Cuban Link arrived finally, but it felt rugged/sharp on the edges and not nearly as smooth as the 10k chain they sent by mistake. Also, you’d need a magnifying glass to see the 14k stamp on this chain. It’s comically tiny. Will gladly provide a photo if requested. The example photo for this exact chain on the site has a clear and large 14k stamp but not mine. I would just expect better customer service for an item over $1,000 and not feel like it’s my fault you sent me the wrong, cheaper item. I can’t help but feel like they purposely sent me a blemished chain. The way I was spoken to due to their mistake made me worried about the legitimacy of the chain, but that is highly unlikely - I have not taken it to a jeweler to confirm the karat either. Regardless, the physical quality of this specific chain is not top of the line. Period. Just a really unfortunate series of events and conclusion from a clearly established and high quality jeweler. Still follow you on IG and amazed at your work, just not satisfied with my experience or purchase. I think 3 stars is reasonable but willing to change my rating with a valid response from the business owner addressing my concerns. I would not let this review deter you from purchasing from this business, I would assume mistakes and situations like mine are not a...
