This hospital visit was an absolute disaster, and I will be posting videos to expose their unprofessionalism and violations towards HIPPA. The nurse and doctor I encountered were completely incompetent. I waited in the waiting room for over two hours, patiently watching as others who arrived after me despite not appearing urgent were taken in before me. I didn’t even mind the wait at first, but once I was finally called in, I was pushed to the side and ignored.
I waited yet again, this time once again in the small room where they check vitals before assigning a patient to a room. No one addressed me, and when they finally attempted to send me back out, I explained my situation to the nurse. Eventually, a doctor came to see me, and I described my concerning symptoms of which I will not state. She couldn’t even find a light to check my throat and eyes, left the room, and didn’t return for a long time. While waiting, I overheard the nurse across the hallway loudly saying, “It’s just a sore throat,” and sarcastically questioning my symptoms.
From the very beginning, I had clearly explained all my symptoms one being unable to swallow along with others and why I was worried. Yet, before even properly examining me, the nurse was making assumptions and diagnosing me out loud in the hallway completely unprofessional and a clear violation of HIPAA and I will seek legal action everyone makes mistakes but she was not even sorry it’s clear no one leads by example. As I was finally being taken to a room, I saw the doctor mocking my symptoms and discussing them with others in an unprofessional manner. They don’t even know my history as a patient and if they did, maybe they would understand more the symptoms I was experiencing and try to help.
I had my two-year-old son with me during this entire ordeal, making their dismissiveness and lack of care even more unacceptable. Instead of providing proper medical attention, the nurse acted as if she knew better than everyone else, refusing to acknowledge how unprofessional and inappropriate her behavior was. If she were such a great nurse, she would know better than to violate patient confidentiality so blatantly.
This experience was beyond unacceptable. DO BETTER. Ironically, the hospital security and front desk staff were far more professional than the medical team. They expressed empathy as they watched me wait patiently for so long and witnessed me break down in tears from the lack of compassion not just toward me, but also toward my two-year-old beside me. They even acknowledged how unfair the situation was. Unlike many other frustrated patients, I remained calm, yet I was still treated with complete disregard by the very people who were supposed to be...
Read moreIn two occasions, I have come to this hospital for problems with my wife and daughter and truthfully, I was satisfied with their service until it was an actual life-threatening emergency. my whole outlook on this place became negative when i had to come in as the actual patient. I came into this place trembling, dizzy, feeling my absolute worst, such excruciating pain that I have not felt within my time of living, body temperature at 103, high pressure and pulse, but since there were many people, I had to wait. I understand everyone has to wait because it is an emergency center, however it should not be by order of who came first, rather by order of crucial emergency, because I could not even get out of the car and there were people in the waiting room that came first before me that did not show an ounce of pain. It is only logical that someone who has finger pain should wait just a little more than someone whose body is shutting down by the hour. A nurse even had to give me a blanket because of how much I kept trembling while waiting. He did not care until I took matters into my own hands. Later the doctor came with great professionalism and when I told him that I had a fever, he called the nurse to double check my temperature. The nurse once again said that i did not have a fever, he completely disregarded it as if he knew better than me just because he had more authority in his scrubs thinking he knew my body better than myself. When he took my temperature, I had a fever of 104, which came to a surprise the doctor who had heard the nurse say that I did not have a fever. However, they did not bother to check the other laboratory results which were extremely alarming. it did not seem like their priority. My wife received a call from a friend to hear about the situation, and started to complain to her which resulted in new doctors walking into the room. Then came a doctor who actually cared about my health, super professional and acted excellent, including the nurse in their team. They truly understood how important your health is instead of disregarding patients when they needed it the most. I hope that someone reads this comment and realizes how important it is to go to a hospital with a companion so they will not be alone at times in need and when they have to shake things up because the patient is not being a priority in the nurses' and...
Read moreWorse emergency room to go. The staff were very unprofessional. I was waiting with my son for more than 30 minutes and the doctor did not showed up. I decided to go to the nurse station ( but I stayed on the hallway all the time) to ask about doctor, and there were a member staff ( I thought she was a nurse) that answered in a very rude way and very bad attitude to me while the doctor was sitting in front of the computer talking with his assistant or something similar. Half an hour later, the second time I cameback to them to ask for the doctor I found the doctor still there having a conversation with his assistant and that lady got more upset ( maybe because she realized that I noticed they weren't taking care of patients as they should). Her name is Julie Rosselli a nurse practitioner. But that was not the end of the story... that nurse tried to threatenen me telling that if I did not go to the room, she will call security, at this time I do not understand why she was planning to call security!!!... well .....then once the doctor saw her reaction, he standed up and walked to me and together, we walk into my son's room. During the time he was observing my son, he mentioned he will prescrive antibiotics to him. The doctor left the room and we waited for the nurse to comback with doctor's recommendations and prescriptions.... but what a sorprise !!! no prescriptions were there!! Then I asked the nurse and she had to go back to doctor and remind him the prescriptions!! That is the team that should save your life!! 😱 Unbelievable!! Wow ...for sure I will never comeback to this place and I will never recommend it. I will scalate this complain to the higest level I can. But only going over all reviews, you can realize how bad is...
