La Guajira Pizzeria — Restaurant in Hialeah

The reviews are not 5 stars because of poor customer service. The food is 5 stars.The cashier lady has the worst attitude, instead of working the front she should work throwing out the garbage. She is very unprofessional, we did several online combos and she didn’t want to acknowledge all the items that were supposed to be included in our combos. She wanted to restrict us to what we could get as in type of soda and our garlic bread. When she was told to substitute the the garlic bread for flan she was giving attitude and nasty face expressions. Also, “frying eggs” what us cuban say ”friendo huevo”. We are thankful for the man from the kitchen that came to resolve the issue and help us and even apologize for her terrible behavior. The food was spectacular!! It was honestly great and we loved it. We would definitely go back, but she needs to be apprehended for her actions. If we were able to review an individual this will all fall on her. Everything else was amazing. We went on 03/16/22 around 8:03 p.m. We spent $72.35 Including tip that is specifically for the kitchen not for the cashier lady. This happened in the hialeah location.

Esta evaluación no es 5 estrellas por el servicio al cliente. La comida si son 5 estrellas. La cajera tiene la peor actitud, en lugar de trabajar al frente debería trabajar botando la basura. Es muy poco profesional, hicimos varios combos en línea y no quiso reconocer todos los elementos que se suponía que debían incluirse en nuestros combos. Quería restringirnos a lo que pudiéramos obtener como tipo de refresco y nuestro pan de ajo. Cuando le dijeron que sustituyera el pan de ajo por flan, ella estaba dando una actitud y expresiones desagradables. También “friendo huevos ” como decimos los cubanos. Estamos agradecidos por el hombre de la cocina que vino a resolver el problema y ayudarnos e incluso disculparnos por el terrible comportamiento de esa mujer. La comida estuvo espectacular!! Sinceramente fue genial y nos encantó. Definitivamente regresaríamos, pero ella necesita ser detenida por sus acciones. Si pudiéramos dejar una evaluación a un individuo, todo esto recaería sobre ella. Todo lo demás fue increíble. Considerando Las circunstancias de corona virus no consideró que este negocio tiene buenas prácticas de hygiene para proteger a sus consumidores. El servicio fue acceptable, los empleados fueron agradables. El grupo de empleados estaban en la cocina conversando y de los 5 solamente uno utilizaba máscara. La joven poniendo la pizza en las cajas le estaba hablando arriba a las pizzas. El dueño ( un señor blanco alto calvo puede ser ) estaba en la cocina y cuando les mencioné que ella no tenía máscara y que hablaba arriba de la pizza que nos estaba sirviendo y que me preocupaba porque mi mamá tenía asthma el señor alto blanco no hizo nada y la muchacha se puso máscara solo para servirnos la tercera pizza en caja- nos dio las tres pizzas y se viró y se fue. Dos pizzas sobre las cuales tuvo sus conversaciones y la última con máscara.

Given the current situation with Covid my review is based on the protocol this business follows for the hygiene of the food.

The customer service was friendly & according to my family the pizza was good. This spot advertises on the show Carlucho- we ordered three cheese pizzas to try this location and we noticed the people in the kitchen majority were not wearing masks and were freely having a conversation - the young woman placing the pizzas in the boxes was not wearing a mask and talking on top of the pizzas to her coworkers- she was the one placing pizzas in a box. I politely mentioned this to her and she put a mask on only for the third pizza and handed me the three pizzas. The owner was standing in the kitchen and did nothing.

OMGGGGG! I love this little pizza shop. It's open for night owls till 2 am. Which to me is super convenient! I always pull up last minute, I'm so sorry bout that. We just get hungry at that time and no other place is open. I always order a personal cheese pizza w/ the pancitos de ajo and it is fireeeeeeeee!! I highly recommend. The last time I went we ordered una pizza familiar, and I can say it was impeccable. Thank you for your wonderful service 11/10 for me. BTW the churros w/ the dulce de leche sauce is amazing!
