Currents Wexford — Attraction in Hilton Head Island

I am outraged at the way this boutique treated my grandmother. She has shopped here on nearly every trip to Hilton Head, but this time she was left in tears. When she walked in, not a single employee greeted her, acknowledged her, or made her feel welcome. Instead, she felt judged and ignored — all because she wasn’t dressed up that day.

This is supposed to be a high-end boutique catering to women, yet they couldn’t extend the most basic courtesy of a smile or a “hello.” Staff in a store like this should lift women up and make them feel beautiful, not dismiss them because of appearances. The fact that my grandmother, one of your loyal customers, left crying and too embarrassed to ever return is beyond unacceptable.

Frankly, if this store had been open on Sunday — the day I left the island — I would have gone there in person to tell them how disappointed and angry I am with how she was treated.
