This was my First & LAST Time I will Ever go to this Pub! I'm a local in HHI and You Should Save Your Money! For starters I requested a Booth seating! Like WHAT's UP WITH THE SEATING arrangement for customers. If you are not a friend of the (Old Lady) at the door let's call her the Grump you will not get a booth to sit at as she saves these for her friends! I was told they were "ALL RESERVED" but for a whole hour not one booth was used ever not one even though the GRUMP sat 8 other tables while I was there and not one customer received a booth table and mind you I asked for a booth. Service was FAIR at best (Invoice# 0002353453) and it appeared that whatever was going on personally with her kept her from the table more often than providing any valued service. And the Grump (OMG) running around with her cell phone all the time was more important than the people standing at the doorway and she would just kept talking to staff and doing phone stuff in the diner area! It was a good thing I had a $10 Coupon as this is what I provided as a Tip $10 or I would have left Nothing at all as that's how just soso the service really was and my table NEVER was cleaned of plates even after 10 minutes of being finished and paying my bill. I went there for Prime Rib and sadly I received a King Cut Prime Rib that might as well been LEATHER (on two different plates). To make matters worst I had a DULL Knife that would not cut this leather prime rib and when requesting a sharper knife I was informed that that's the best they had in the restaurant! So there you go my personal review... I being someone from cattle country who Loves Beef (i.e. I am a Beefetarian) so if you want to waste your money go there but just know I tried to warn you ahead of time! I will gladly remove my post should I see the refund credit on my Amexxxxx1008!

TLDR: It's a cute small place with good food. Can get super busy and tight with the amount of tables crammed in there. I would recommend it overall. Our order: dinner on Jan 6th, 2022. I had the battered chicken and fries (was supposed to have coleslaw but didn't receive it), along with the 'local pretzel' appetizer. My mom had the Irish coffee I pictured and the pretzels. My mom's husband had the Nacho appetizer. Chicken were the light and flaky pieces I wanted. As mentioned above, I was supposed to get coleslaw but they never gave it to me (🙄). The pretzels and nachos were the weakest parts. The pretzels were not hearty tasting, like more German based ones (I'm from Ohio, and a cooking and Germanic background). The pretzels were ok but a bit bland, so not the best. The nachos weren't good, according to my mom's husband; they burned the chips and it was a bit dry, but had lots of meat. My mom loved the Irish coffee ☕. They made it with a double shot as she asked. Pros: 1) Good food with decent prices. 2) Decor is on par (just had to, 😆) with the theme they are going for, golf. 3) Pretty kind staff. They remembered (without prompting) the extra sauces I wanted. 4) They have inside and outside seating options. Cons: 1) I was missing a part of my meal. Even it was just a small coleslaw cup. 2) Tight space, especially when packed. Definitely not socially distant tables (both inside and outside). 3) The appetizers were the weakest part of the meal. They totally need to expand to another place. This place would do well with more space.

This pub is cute on the inside, but I found the food left to be desired. Now, I will say, the fish and chips are good, but everything else we had was bland, uninspiring or flat out didn't taste good. I had the liver, onions and bacon and that liver was unappetizing, I ended up picking at the dish. We also ordered a Scottish egg, which had no seasoning whatsoever! One bite of that and I was done. My stepdad had the cod sandwich, which he said was just ok. I would stick to anything fried from here, but if looking for a good sandwich or beer, this would be a better choice.

I live on Hilton Head and I really enjoy the food here but every time I go I have a terrible experience. The first time I went I was very pregnant and the waitress ignored me and my husband our whole meal and we had to flag down another server to even help us. I only do to go orders now and the food is usually right but when I walk in the door I am never greeted and the hostess is always up front. This has happened at least five times. I went in this evening to pick up my to go and there was a waitress sitting down in the front of the restaurant and the hostess they both looked at me and didn’t say a word. I walked to the bar to get my to go order and I waited a good 5 minutes and wasn’t acknowledged because the bartender was so busy and that’s okay but there were waitresses literally sitting up front and no one could help her? I returned to the front and asked if I could pay for my to go and the waitress was very short and rude and said that I would have to continue to wait at the bar. So I go back up to the bar wait another two minutes and I finally go to pay for my food. I look in my bag while the bartender is running my card and I notice my fish and chips are wrong. I did say something to the bartender and I told her I know it wasn’t her fault but my fish wasn’t right. I continued to say it’s okay I would just like to leave, she would not give me my card back until I told her what was wrong and then she told me that I didn’t even look at the food so how could I be complaining? I said yes I did look at it and she blamed the cooks. I did get a little rude back and told her to give me my card and that I wanted to leave. Sorry for the long review but I would maybe only go here if you are older and a golfer. They don’t seem to like younger people in here. I worked as a bartender for a long time and for the employees to act like this is unacceptable. I will never eat here again unfortunately. I also wouldn’t recommend for people from...
