Old Bluffton Flowers & Gifts — Attraction in Hilton Head Island

I recently ordered some flowers for my wife as I was going to be out of town. I had previously never used Old Bluffton Flowers and Gifts before. I called up and asked for a dozen pink roses and a couple of lilies to be added as they are my wife's favorite. I ask that these be delivered 2 days later between 9 am and noon. This place knocked it out of the park! They did exactly what they said they would, delivering on time, creating a wonderful display of flowers for my wife and exceeding my expectations! With our Sailing Charter business, we often get asked to arrange flowers for our guests and we have ordered flowers from most of the places on Hilton Head Island and most of the time I get something that I feel we way overpaid for and occasionally have felt a little embarrassed as I had them to the client that asked us to arrange for them. I am very excited to say that was in no way explaining my recent experience with Old Bluffton Flowers and Gifts on Burt Church Rd in Bluffton. Again, placing more flowers than I had asked for, putting together a great display of flowers to the point that my wife thought I paid way more than I did. Initially everything went great, I called in mostly because I wanted to be certain that I could have flowers delivered by 8:30 or 9am on Valentine’s Day because places like 1-800-Flowers don’t offer time-of-day guarantees, and my wife is a teacher, so if flowers show up at the school at 2:00pm, that’s a big fail. The lady who answered was very friendly and super assuring that they had hired extra drivers and confident they could have the flowers there by 8:30, even 8:00 if I wanted. 8:30 would be fine. However, unfortunately they were not able to hold up to the promise and I was sorely disappointed to have the flowers end up being delivered around noon, with a “sorry but it’s Valentine’s Day and we are super busy” as the excuse - despite my sole purpose of using them and confirmed assumed promise ahead of time knowing they’d prepared ahead of time with extra drivers for the holiday. The arrangement was beautiful, but smaller than pictured, and the delivery was a letdown, but I will probably still give them another shot...

I order from Old Bluffton every year for my brother and sister-in-law. I live in NJ and have to trust that the product delivered meets my expectations and theirs. In the many years I have ordered from Old Bluffton they have never failed. They really do care to get it right and get the job done. If there's an issue, they call and ask. They keep me informed.
