1st time here , we was on vacation & wanted 2 Try some seafood , The lady @ The front desk where we were staying recommended this place . So here we r . The food was excellent , The margarita is very good However, the service SUCKED r Waitress ( Danielle D ) Was not friendly , Nor very helpful . She had NO patience @ all !! We was trying 2 Ask her about items on the menu & She got frustrated & Couldn’t answer all of the questions . Then when it came time 2 Pay the bill , There was an extra charge on the bill so I questioned her about it & She got very frustrated & Left the table & Went and got her manager & Then she couldn’t even come back 2 Collect the money she had him do it . Which I think was very, very rude of her & Very Ignorant . If he would’ve been a good manager, he would’ve told her , u Go apologize & u Collect the money . That pissed me off !!!! I Wouldn’t recommend her being a waitress very much longer she better find a different job or learn how to treat the customers better !!!!

I would have given this place an extra star except for my grilled swordfish being so tough and tasteless. Almost like it was leftover from the prior day and reheated. It made it hard to enjoy the rest of the food on the Captain's Platter, which was shrimp, scallops & blackened fish ($30). The kids enjoyed their dishes, which applesauce & snack size bags of goldfish with grilled cheese sandwich/fried shrimp. The one shining dish was the she crab soup. Please don't visit here without trying it! I'm not a soup person, but this was so tasty and thick, I would come back just for this. The restaurant is casual and staff is very friendly. I was a little chilly because we got rained on coming in, so I bought a tshirt from the many hanging all over the place. Prices were reasonable, just wish the fish on everyone's plate had been fresher/prepared better.

The food WAs horrendous!!! Everything has no flavor, no seasoning, was overcooked and chewy tasted as if they threw salt into the air and hoped it landed it on the food. 1) I had the sampler appetizer. The oysters had no seasoning at all on them. They were over cooked and even the cocktail sauce was bland. 2) the crab legs had a Cajun powder barely sprinkled on them. 3) the mussels were chewy like bubble gum. 4) I was really upset about having to pay so much money for horrible food. Old bay would have been excellent on top 5) the oysters Rockefeller was also disgusting. Bacon spinach and Parmesan cheese on top of a bland oyster. It was like salad and no dressing. 6) calamari was so disappointing. Was barely crispy, had more of the body of the calamari than the rings

I use to go here all the time great food great service but sadly that changed maybe because the server herself not sure. I wish they had shrimp and crab option but they don’t you can get 4 steams but can’t sub the you can get two things on you platter but u can’t include crab it’s a additional. So the main problem with we got two cluster of crab and the two item meal which was all shrimp and sharing with my daughter. We had no where to put our shells usually they bring u stuff so I asked for a plate and brought me a bowl which is fine for the shells but I still had no plate to eat with so I asked for a plate again and she told me to use this other container for shells but I need a plate never got a plate.. so I was treated very bad no plate .. then I was trying to have conversation with my daughter cause I don’t see her offer cause of my job so I was being interrupted several times for the check the server kept taking the check with no payment and we were trying to debate on dessert but decided not to since the lady kept pushing us to leave...

So lets start with the positive, our waitress on a busy springbreak friday evening was pushing as hard as her little legs could push serving basically the entire restaurant with 4 large parties. She did great and I'm sorry I didnt get your name but you're awesome (older caucasian woman). The wait time to sit down wasnt bad at all tho quick seat placement was compromised by a slow kitchen. The food was delicious besides my friends shrimp coming out overcooked but once again our waitress made up for with a quick replacement entree. The sweet potatoe fries on the menu should emphasize the cinnamon sugar dusting which was a tad excessive. The crab legs came out very fresh and sweet which I enjoyed quite a bit. But for a high rated, well established and expensive restaurant I have to say that I've had better from Joe's Crabshack this may have been just due to the massive influx of customers but a business should never accept large groups that risks the efficiency of the kitchen. I will return to try again...

I went to their factory a couple of blocks away, and was told that they also have a sit down restaurant in town, so I ended up hopping over...

The server and cook were really friendly and nice, they made me feel @home. I was showered with tons of local recommendations by my server, and for that I'm very thankful.

Now to the food part: the only reason why I came here is to try some fresh local seafood, And because oysters were out of season I settled for a half a pound of (extra large) shrimp, while waiting they brought out some hush puppies to munch on, it wasn't bad at all, but the highlight was the steamed shrimp... The basket came out with all this yummy little things I felt like my mouth was in heaven! It was so fresh, and so tasty! If it wasn't for my diet, I would still be there...

I might be back to try their sh-crab soup, some say, it's one of the...
