The bread is AMAZING! Toasted to perfection! Real good food! That perfect crunch when you bite into the sandwich. The theme is confusing. It goes in different directions. Are they a sugary or mini art gallery? Old time country bakery?? Could use a deep clean and organization of the back prep area. It’s open to the public and you don’t want customers seeing your mess. Prices are reasonable. Looks like the owners are the crew working and they seem to get easily overwhelmed. That makes me feel bad and nervous when ordering because I do not want to overwhelm them. However, they are providing a service and that is the point of their business. The person at the counter (who might be owner) leaves hair In a pony tail and swings it around. Overall they seem nice. They do have cleaning products everywhere for us to use which is impressive because not many businesses have that. Cake pop was small. Kids said cake sickles were good. The bagels are not really dense. I don’t like a real dense bread so that was nice. The coffee was also good and they serve it hot so be careful when you have it in your hands as to not spill it. Read moreTodd and Jo are such incredible people! During our wedding cake tasting, they took the time to sit down and talk with us, and shared the story of their business. The cake tasting was so fun and we got to try every combination of the flavors we picked. The wedding cake was beautiful, and so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was! We chose vanilla with vanilla buttercream frosting and raspberry filling for the top and bottom layers, and did a marble cake with the vanilla buttercream frosting and raspberry and chocolate filling - I highly recommend that combination!! We ended up also ordering a carrot cake for my brother’s birthday as well, and it was probably the best carrot cake we’ve ever had. I absolutely recommend The Sugaree for any custom...
Read moreCute little place. Wasn’t sure what to expect but my husband wanted brunch. I ended up getting a cinnamon cronut (never heard of such a thing) and oh my word. One of the best things I have ever eaten in my life! The bagels looked marvelous as well but one can only eat so much food ha! The chicken salad was pretty good as well. I must say though that out of all the states I’ve visited I’ve made it a point to try coleslaw from each place and this little place has hands down by FAR the best coleslaw I have ever eaten. Creamy and the perfect amount of tang. Wow. I’ll be dreaming about it till the next time. The owners were very friendly which we found a little hard to come by in Blufton. You won’t regret...
