I am only giving four stars instead of 5 due to the scarcity of trash cans. Everywhere you look there is a blue recycle bin, but trash cans are few. Especially along the trail around the pond. Lots of dog waste bags, but few places to dump your dog waste. There should be a trash can next to every blue recycle bin. People are using the dog waste bags and then throwing the bag with dog waste on the ground. Non-recyclable trash is an eyesore at this park. There is litter on the ground and floating in the water. Why not give people trash receptacles within reach? Why pay for cleaning up litter when you can just invest in some trash receptacles so people can throw away their garbage? Read moreI have to say, I have high standards when it comes to parks. I come from West Palm Beach FL, and I have to say I am highly disappointed in this park. I'm use to a park that has walking trails, exercise trails, bike trails, 4 different size playgrounds for different age/size kids/teens/adults, softball and soccer fields, splash park and a dog park. When I come here, I'm just like what is there for me to do. I'm so tempted to go play in the dog park 😂.
