Service was fantastic. Abby Schulze was proficient, experienced, informative, and on the ball. The food was phenomenal. However, I did have a couple issues with the restaurant. First of all, if you're coming from the side opposite Lowe's and walmart, you cannot see the sign from the road. It's not lit up on the restaurant, either. You don't even know it's there. You can see it from the Walmart and Lowe's side, but it's not lit up. How are people supposed to choose to eat at your restaurant if they don't even know it's sitting there? Secondly, there are no senior options for food. I'm 65. I don't always want a full plate of food. Sometimes I would like a smaller portion like many seniors. Our appetites tend to decrease as we get older. It would be nice if we had at least one or two choices -- soup and half a sandwich, smaller portions, or something of that nature. You don't have any signs advertising the special of the day either outside or in a prominent place on the menu. There are no Frozen drinks. You don't have any happy hours. You don't offer any specials like buy one get the second one for half price. You didn't do anything for Cinco de mayo. You didn't do anything special for Valentine's day. You're not going to draw customers back to this location if you don't put some time and effort into updating the interior of the restaurant, making sure the sign or at least the Marquee on top of the restaurant is lit up so people know it's there, and do things that appeal to your customers. You can't increase revenue without customers, but you can't draw customers without spending some money. Some of your servers are great. Your cooks are really good. Give them a chance. They can only do what you allow them to do, and you're not allowing them to reach their full potential. I would love to see your restaurant take off. I like Ruby Tuesday. However, continuing to do the same thing while hoping for change isn't going to work. You have to effect change by doing things differently. Oh, and one more thing -- your menu is way too cluttered. It's not organized well. It's almost overwhelming. It should be divided into appetizers, lunch, and dinner, with a simple description and a picture instead of being so full people can't even figure out what's on it half the time. Too much information can be worse than not having enough. Thank you, Abby Schulze, for being a phenomenal server. Thank you, Daryl, for the awesome asiago bacon chicken. I really...
Read moreI live in Florida on the coast and we don’t have a Rubys close to me so I was really excited to find one while I was traveling. I LOVE THE SALAD BAR. I’m vegan so getting a full meal on the road is kindof stupid sometimes. I use Yelp for directions so I obviously saw the rating of this restaurant and got a little weirded out, or- er, a lot weirded out- especially that one that says “the salad bar is not a full salad bar”. Being the brave stubborn woman that I am, I went anyway. I walked up to the door and feared they were closed because there is a white paper sign posted but I parked and tried anyway- the sign simply states that they’re closing at 8pm because they are short staffed. I walked in figuring this was going to be a hilariously terrible lunch but as soon as my feet crossed the threshold I was greeted by a very kind young lady, (later I found out ther name was Lana. I was the only person in the entire restaurant (okkkkk now I’m feeling like I’ve been set up) I indicated to the hostess that I’d like to sit at the bar and she walked me over with a smile and introduced me to Allison, the bartender. She greeted me with a warm, hello ma’am how may I help you. I asked for a Chardonnay and she asked my preference, house or something else, I chose house. She asked me if I was hungry or just drinking and I replied with a hesitant, “I’ll probably have the salad bar but may I see a menu” she handed me a menu and proceeded to let me know that they were having a special salad bar + soup or salad bar + loaded baked potato and gave me some time. She made some chit chat with another employee and they involved me, it was just anecdotal banter but it was nice, because I came in alone. So, I made my way over to the salad bar and let me tell y’all something. It IS a full salad bar, it’s stocked full and it’s SO CLEAN! Everything was fresh and very well presented. The greens were crisp and so were the cucumbers (usually they are the first things to go soggy) I made myself a beautiful salad bar and proceeded to have great conversation with Allison and Lana. Keep in mind, I was the only customer here at the time so they were not abandoning their duties or ignoring other guests during this time. All restaurants go through hard times from time to time but it seems like whatever the problem they were having here was, it has...
Read moreMyself, my husband , and my two cousins went here on Friday night, March 27th, 2025. Want to see if things had changed si ce their reopening, it has not. The waitress we had , I believe her name was America, she stood several tables away (with a mask on ) asked our drink orders, took our food orders, food was sub par, her waitressing skills are lacking she has no people skills whatsoever, when it came time for our bill, mind you my husband and I ordered off the 2/25 meal so that was messed up , had only ordered one salad added , which wasn't great either , and 7.39 for two glasses of sweet tea but guess she can't figure out swer from unsweetened. My cousins did the same 2/25 but had two salads she was about to be charged close to 70 dollars , we were about to be charged almost 60.00 , she took the receipts back was gone a while , came back. We looked at them again , she had taken off one of the salads , on ours but there was a 5.00 fee said she "spoke" to manager and was told it's an extra charge, for which we got no explanation for , same for my cousin , between the 4 of us bills should have been 60.00 max , this was not the case. Also I might add this was Friday night after about 730 pm. There was a total of 8 customers , too include the four of us , in the entire restaurant. That is not good practices if trying to rebuild the brand. Was 1st and last time since "reopening" it's a shame at one time Ruby Tuesday was a good place to eat, no it just needs to close , get new servers , that are personable , not afraid to...
