I've always liked Aldi; my mom introduced me to it when I was young. I prefer to buy my everyday essentials there because of the great value, only going to other stores for specific name-brand or specialty items.

However, as prices have risen across the board, Aldi hasn't been exempt. I've noticed that their prices have increased, such as the pretzel rods, which are now priced around one-third of an hourly wage for many low-income shoppers. Additionally, I've observed a decline in the quality of certain items I've enjoyed for years. For instance, the peanut butter pretzels are no longer what they used to be since they've added malt to the recipe. Many products now contain bioengineered ingredients, which is concerning. I find myself having to check labels for items I’ve always bought because what didn't contain bioengineered ingredients last week might this week. Just recently, I had to return two bags of potato puffs because of this issue. It's disheartening to see this trend, and if things don’t change, it might reach a point where buying Non-GMO food at stores becomes nearly impossible.

Also, they should fix the wheels on their carts. If I have to rent the cart, I shouldn't be dragging it through the store on three wheels bc the fourth wheel is stuck or broken, crumbled to heck. Then you can't easily just choose a different cart bc they are all locked together needing a quarter to release, which makes it time/energy consuming to pick through and find a decent rolling cart. At least they could put they broke carts in the back of the cart line, so it like last choice carts. They are usually the very first ones...

Had a employee get very hostile and rude with me because I was blocking a dumpster with my car, he stared me down thru the window so even though I found that strange the way he approached me I started to move out of the way as to be polite and not block his work area, and then to my surprise he took a picture of my tag as if I’m this huge criminal! now he has my personal information at this point I got out of the car and asked him what his problem was I explained that I moved already and he explained very rudely that I couldn’t park there and I said that is no problem I was moving anyway, he then began to curse at me and blow me kisses and flex his muscles at me like some kind of street thug I got very upset at this point I had now also responded poorly, all of this you was from a distance not once did I approach this employee or get in his personal space instead he picked up a shovel and raised it at me like he was going to attack me I hope the store does something about this and fires this employee he also claimed to be the manager and told me there’s nothing I can do about it well it. Then he started throwing up gang signs at me and making a gesture as if he was going to shoot me with a gun!!!! This Doesn’t stop here next I will email cooperate also here is a photo of said employee in question as you can see he is very proud of his actions this is the location of 775 s st rd 7...

I have my service dog and go with me at all places, but in this Aldi the manager ask me in front of the customers about the service that my dog do in the store. Why you need the dog in the store. My dog is my emotional support. I have panic attack andy dog know to need do in my events. But is disgusting to need explain that in front of all customers. Nobody need know my condition and the manager say me about any dog need get in the store no more. My dog is training like service dog, no barking, walk clouse to me, do not touch anything, but in front of me in the middle of the situation, another ma'am, with black skin walk with her dog and show any training because try to play with my dog to barking, touch everything and the manager do not say anything about. This Aldi is clouse to my house maybe 2 Km, but I never never going on there anymore. The manager discriminate me, and my service dog. I have all documents about his service dog training and the other ma'am do not need show any documents and training. If you want going at this Aldi, make sure to left the dog in the house, if you need attention for any condition Aldi give you the service and pay for everything because the service dog is not welcome...

What threw me off before I entered the market was that you had to pay $0.25 to use a shopping cart...you'll get back the quarter once you lock the cart back in place. Located in a plaza, next to Burlington, along Washington St. and State Rd. 7 (441), Aldi is a large store that feels like a combination of Save-A-Lot supermarket and a dollar store. It's clean with organized aisles such as grocery, candy, pastry, bread, fruits & vegetables, beer, dairy, packaged meats, laundry items, paper goods, personal & baby care items. In the middle of the store, there are Aldi Finds, which are tools, toys, pet items, household items; and outdoor items for camping, home, and garden. Aldi carries a few of the national name brand products, but they mostly carry their own food brands. The prices are low and affordable. There are a few of the employees around, and the cashier who checked my items out was pleasant. Just like Save-A-Lot, you have to pack your own groceries and bring your own tote bags. Aldi does provide bags, but you have to purchase them. $0.10 for plastic bags and $0.07 for paper bags.
