Murphy Bed Sleep Shop — Local services in Hollywood

My husband and I bought a murphy bed with side cabinets from the Murphy Bed Sleep Shop. It has now been installed for six weeks and we love it. It is in the master bedroom, we sleep on every night and, with the memory foam mattress, is totally comfortable. We also have a spacious room when the bed is up. The deliver time was short—just about a month--and the finished product looks very good. This was a great experience. We went to the store to browse, since we were debating whether to “order a kit” and do it ourselves. We were greeted by Ron, who with all the patience in the world, explained to us the alternatives available, the prices, etc. After more than an hour in the store we left, and I STILL had questions, so I went the next day, and sat with Ron for another hour in front of one of the sample beds they had in the store, and started looking at alternative, type of knobs, etc. My husband did not dare to come back with me because he felt bad I was taking so much time to make sure all the details were perfect. We first were thinking of using the murphy bed for guests. I sat on the bed that they had in the showroom, and found it so comfortable, that decided to give a shot at putting it in the master bedroom instead, and used it on a daily basis. Six weeks already and loving it. Interestingly, it takes less time to make the murphy bed, than a regular bed. I timed it!! It is light enough for anybody in the house to lift it. We also were concern about space, and Ty went to the apartment, made meticulous measurement, and make sure that when it came, it would fit exactly in the space. He made some “tweeks” to the original design to make it perfect. In summary, as you can tell, we definitely recommend Murphy bed Sleep...

I purchased a Murphy bed in April 2017 and had it installed. Ty was very friendly and understanding of my concerns and needs for the bed installation. He came to the property and inspected it for sizing before actually recommending a bed and having it installed. He also recommended and provided a custom-built shelf unit to accommodate the small space that adjoined the bed. Fast forward to today (January 29th, 2019), where I just got off the phone with Ty letting him know that one of the lights on the custom-built shelf wasn't working. Being the professional that he is, he gave me step-by-step instructions on how to get the information to him in order to get a replacement light. I appreciate that he didn't disregard my concern or even turn me away to try and fix it myself. I’ve seen Murphy beds, but only on TV😂 I wanted an expert & a family owned business is surely a plus~ just a couple of reasons why I chose this location & Mr Ty has a voice you can listen to all day😊 Mr Ty explained ALL the details like a memorized record AND he gave me a good price on 2 queen size Murphy beds w/mattress: 1 for my snowbird Mom & another for the occasional visitor(s)- Hollywood Murphy Bed Sleep Shop did NOT disappoint! If Mr Ty said 4pm, it was 4pm, if Mr Ty said he’d call- he did! This is a professional business😉 My queen size guest bed arrived 1st & My moms queen size bed was built to order & actually set up in my home.
