I always love to come here to pick up some groceries or something to make for dinner. Specifically the produce is a great price so I will stock up on it. They have a great selection of food from various cultures including Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Philippines, Japanese, Middle Eastern, Spanish, and more. Their butcher shop and seafood shop has expanded immensely to where there is now even a row of freezers with various well-labled options. You can get many things here that you wouldn't anywhere else. There is also various kitchenware and small cooking aplliances in the back for a good price, I suggest going all the way to the back to take a look. The people here seem to keep busy and are nice. However they keep to themselves and aren't really willing to talk to you or help if you are looking for something. The store also seem to run events and raffles here although I've never been to one. Parking shares with some other business (Ollie's and Cicis and Firehouse) so often times parking is scarce, but never completely out. But it's huge and it's got a great location directly off of Green Springs Hwy. Oh and It's directly connected to the ever popular Mr Chens restraunt. I will say they do a good job keeping price tags on the shelf updated but sometimes things don't ring up exactly what they said so it never hurts to have them check a price...

Traveling through Alabama, I wasnāt expecting such a diverse culture in the city of Birmingham. I stopped here because my kids were in search of Boba tea and there werenāt many places that offered it authentic. Though this place wasnāt as close to where we were staying as I would have liked, we made the trip anyway. I was a bit concerned about the area when getting off the highway, and also seeing this was inside a grocery store. I walked in and was completely amazed! The store was huge and had had a wide selection of just about any Asian item you could think of. The boba tea was excellent! Although it was unplanned, I stopped in the on-site restaurant thatās connected to the grocery store (Mr. Chenās) and ordered takeout. The food was delicious!
What I enjoyed most is the diversity of customers that I saw patronizing the store. This brought me much comfort, and allowed me to try more things.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've heard about international supermarkets and this is one of them, it is mostly Asian-based with a lot of fresh produce, meat, seafood and other products willing to entertain your household needs. With a mix of a boba tea place and a restaurant nearby, if visiting Homewood, this is a must.
Variety: Like I said, there is indian, mexican, african food, asian food, all the ones you could really think of, an item you might really want but you can't find it somewhere else except the Supermarket.
Accessibility: Easy to find items, aisles marked with things you might need and other condiments, you could even ask the staff for help if you needed assistance.
Miscellaneous: If you didn't wanna shop, there is also food too, Mr Chen's restaurant has a mix of Asian food ranging from dumplings to fried rice and much more. For all you Boba lovers out there, you will be in...
