Today wasnât the first but it was sure the last. My husband has taken our 5 year old to this course multiple times to the range, putting green etc never any issue, was never told he couldnât be there. Today my husband, my father in law and brother in law were all scheduled to play 18 & well of course my 5 year old wanted to join. Not to play but to ride the course with the men he looks up to most. Didnât think anything of it since heâs been to this course multiple times. When my father in law went to check in and pay they asked how many he told them 3 player, 1 rider. The asked the age of my son and he told them and he was told due to liability he could not ride in the golf cart/be on the course. Ok understood no issues. I went to pick him up and when I arrived he was on the putting green with his grandpa, not bothering a soul, doing what heâs done with my husband in MANY occasions as this same course ! Only for a staff member to come out of the club house and tell us that my 5 year old who mind you HAS been to this course before. Could not be on the property AT ALL! In past occasions staff members have spoke highly about how well our son does etc. so itâs not like heâs never been noticed. So I promptly took my broken hearted child and we left. My husband and family went on to play their 18 holes. & to our surprise the family behind my husband was a mother , father and 2 children ! A 8 year old who was DRIVING the golf cart and a 4/5 year old who was PLAYING the course. Needless to say this course is run horribly, no one knows the policy and picks and chooses who has to follow it....

The good: Tee boxes and fairways are pretty nice. Fairways and rough are full of grass, no bare spots. The greens can get challenging. They tend to be firm and fast. During the summer, it tends to get a little dry, making them firmer. Trees are placed in the right spots to add to the challenge...I've been next to most of them. Good variation of easier holes with wide fairways and ones with narrow fairways. Tends to open up after a narrower fairway.
Sand traps have sand to hit out of, not packed down hard.
Greens roll smoothly, there is some undulation, and the grain comes into play at this course.
The bad: Really can't think of any big bad things. People need to fix their divots on the greens.
The course is mostly flat, walker friendly. There is a good mix of walkers and cart riders. Pace if play is pretty good.
Practice areas: -Driving range - mats only. Lots of stalls. Buy balls at the Pro Shop. Putting green - nice putting green next to tee box on hole 1. short game area - good size short game area for chipping and pitching. There are a couple of practice bunkers to hit out of.
This course has a Pro Shop with some equipment and apparel. From time to time there are some good sales on clothes and shoes, just need to go inside to see.
There is a restaurant upstairs, we did not go there so I can't tell much about it. There is also a snake bar downstairs with bar food and...

Letâs call it what it isâa solid 2-star experience, max. If youâre expecting a hidden gem or some kind of standout military club dining experience... temper those expectations right now.
The golf? Decent. The layout is fine, the greens are playable, but nothing about it screams "must-play." More like âwell, itâs here and open.â
Now the food? Standard-issue cafeteria fare. You know the drillâlukewarm burgers, soggy fries, and food that tastes like it gave up halfway through cooking. The kind of meal that reminds you you're still on base and not on vacation đ .
Service? Not bad, but not memorable either. Just basic and functional, like everything else designed for a captive military audience with limited options.
At least the company I kepty was good, fopr the most part, but typically, military folks tend to act differently when out with their significant others, usually, you see their real colors, like "no color at all, even nasty" / fake folks I like to call them. The guy in the blue blazer sitting across from me was really a winner (weiner), but 75% of the folks were cool.
Bottom line: donât come hungry, and donât bring high hopes. It gets the job done, but thatâs about it. Might be worth a swing if you're already on base and just want to hit a bucket and grab a biteâbut otherwise, you're not missing much. Go find a loco moco, you'll be more...
