Was able to walk in around 1245pm! Got a women's haircut the lady was very friendly and noticed I had dry scalp and asked me what shampoo and conditioner I was using! Surprisingly didn't upsell and offer me or convince me to buy shampoos they sell at the store! Which I loved and valued the most during my visit! Most of the time other hair stylists and other shops try to upsell you and get you to buy something from their inventory! She was able to give me recommendations and I asked about shampoos they sell that would help my super dry scalp, they had tea tree shampoo which I've tried before and ended up drying my hair and scalp even more! Then she recommended another brand that they had, but they only had the big bottles. She said she ran out of smaller bottles of that same brand. I was like I think I'll just wait, because I like to try the shampoo and conditioner first before buying a big bottle! She was very humble and said yes, when we get it in stock I'll give you a call. I don't want you to buy a big bottle and have it not work for my hair and scalp! She was looking out for me even if that meant her not making additional sales! That I value very much!
2nd visit and I will now be a regular! Great haircut; cut 4 inches and she even layered it to match my original cut back in November!
Definitely recommend this location of super cuts! Plenty...
Read moreLike any "salon" it all comes down to who you get, how well YOU clearly explain what you want, and how THEY understand and can accomplish making you look like the image you have in your head. So communication skills are most important followed by hair stylist skills. They can't execute what the don't understand so if you don't want to take the time to clearly get your ideas across and validate their understanding BEFORE they start cutting, well don't worry - it will eventually grow back out again. On this visit I had to start over with someone new since my "regular" stylist had moved back to the Mainland. Of those available I ended up with someone who has ESL (English as a Second Language - real thick Vietnamese), so this added to the communication challenge. As it ended up, all went very well, she was great, and I now have another stylist who I was successful in getting the cut I was...
Read moreI came in for a haircut and it was uneven on one side so I asked her to even it out. Then the other side was uneven so I asked for her to fix it. She tried to tell me that it was fine and even. But my mom and sister confirmed that it was not. The stylist got visibly upset but agreed to sit me down to fix it. She was scowling and shaking her head while she finished evening out my fade. I felt very uncomfortable she did not speak to me at all. She made me feel like it was my fault that my hair was uneven. I have my grandfather’s funeral to go to and I want to look my best. This was not the experience I expected at all. I don’t think that I should be made to feel bad when all I wanted was a...
