This is a classic park. Right between Kaimuki HS and Leonard's Bakery you'll find 2 full size basketball courts (that have lighting at night), a large open grass area for walking dogs or playing soccer that is attached to a baseball diamond that seems to be used regularly. You'll also find a play area for kids that is conveniently attached to a parking space for police cars when they occasionally are stationed there temporarily. Four star park considering the bathrooms are old and not in the best shape but sufficient. Read moreThis park has been home away from home for many of my friends. They grew up here and attended Kaimuki High School 20 plus years ago! Many of whom are homeless calling Crane Park, 'home'!! But, the renters across the street, don't like looking at homeless people so close to their home and they call the police often. They even took away my grandchildren because they too, we're homeless.
