I visited Hammer and Stain with a group of Co workers for an afternoon of fun and team building. Instead I found myself in what amount to a kindergarten classroom. The of our group set the tone in how she spoke with us and conducted the class. There was no warm greeting, instead we were told to find our name and projects quickly. This wouldn't be a problem if her tone of voice didn't indicate that she was speaking with a group of rowdy children instead of adults. We were given steps of for our projects. While we worked on our projects,the facilitator work at a separate table on special orders and a upcoming groups projects. This left our group working without assistance or the hands on approach one would thinking they would have in a private group class. In addition to the hands off approach we were rushed through our projects. At different intervals the amount of time we had left was shouted very loudly. Our experience was not one of a fun filled afternoon. The customer service was lacking. If you enjoy being spoken to as if you were a child then this is a place for you. The projects did turn out lovely,but that was not because of any assistance that was provided . You are also not provided with any of the hardware necessary to hang your completed project.
