Seen this place a thousand times driving by and finally tried it today....probably will drive by it another thousand times before we come back again, if then, haha.
The restaurant is a part of a small shopping complex. The interior is cute with 7 tables and some counter seatings. You order from the counter and I see 4 people total in the kitchen/counter area. Ordering is easy and the food comes out quick.
Some ordering negatives. First of all, some of the pricing on their menu is apparently not right. For example, I ordered a boba tea. It says $4 on the menu but it rang up $5. When I asked, the employee said the menu is wrong. Sounds like they need to update the menu. I was going to post the menu pics with my post, but there is no point when the menu pricing isn't accurate. Then they charge you a 3.5% credit processing fee if you pay by credit card....which would be fine except when we tried to pay with cash, they didn't have change. So.....we had to pay by credit card and ended up paying a fee.
Now, the food. We ordered a beef pho and a curry noodle. They were both okay. The beef in the pho is very tender, but there were only 4 small slices. They apparently put fish sauce in it already instead of letting you add it yourself if you want at the table. So that's a big yuck to me as I personally really don't like that fishy flavor/smell. Also, there isn't the same type of meat variety as there usually would be at a pho restaurant. So overall I would rather go to Saigon for my pho. I will give them props tho for having the right kind of soup spoon though....something Glass Panda can learn from. The noodle in the curry noodle bowl was overcooked. The flavor is okay, but not as good as Surin's. Also ordered a Thai tea with boba. It was okay. The boba was pretty chewy but the Thai tea flavor wasn't right because the condensed milk or the half/half ratio to tea is too high.
So all in all, it's okay, but there are better...
Read more“Ladarrius” was tearing it up (TikTok influencer) so I decided to check it out but he don’t know pho. This establishment uses paper bowl and noodles sticks to bottom. I get for quick disposal. The broth has a tinge of taste and broth was super hot , like air hot lol I dumped all the side veg in broth and still hot lol This place is okay if you want a quick fix but honestly don’t feel like food was there specialty since name is called pho pho but serve Japanese, Korean and Thai food. Oh yeah, they do not give a variety of meat in beef pho it just cuts of chunk. I’m assuming it’s flank piece . No meatball , no tendon, no tripe . Make sense for the price. Also skip you mint and lime sides. Ladarrius first time eating pho and it definitely should not.been here. it was not authentic. Cashier was rude when I asked for certain things like a straw or water. She’s not as welcoming. It was cold really cold in there. My chair was cold too I complain for them to turn up heater Someone walked over to turn up heat. Colorful walls and nice banner. Please bring back sirachi not off...
Read moreTook 30 minutes to get our food and it was not busy at all. Had to ask for our drinks after we got our food. When I got my veggie pho I had to ask for the bean sprouts, basil and japs it's supposed to come with then when I got it in a sandwich bag it was browned and soggy, when I asked for a fresher bag the girl told me that's just how it gets being wet in the bag and then brought me another that was worse than the first. I ended up just not even using it even though the bean sprouts are my favorite part, finally tasted my pho and it was bland as heck, so many noodles I hardly had any broth or veggies. I will not be back here at all! Did not eat my food, lost my appetite! I never ask for a refund but when I saw a new tray of fresh bean sprout baggies being brought to the front before my husband even got done eating was over the top for me so obviously I could have gotten fresh when I asked but didn't. I took 3 bites of my food, they told me that they needed a legit reason for my refund like I didn't just give them one. I have never in my life experienced...
