Desmond Corcoran Park — Attraction in Horizon City

The new mini skate park is fun to rollersk8 as a beginner!I recommend Showing up early in the AM when kids are in school. Ideal time if not your chances of trying to get a good sess in is limited. A swarm of kids sk8 here & its not worth the stop if your a beginner due to the lack of space. Repaved walking trail is smooth & also great to roll on. Locals are friendly & will stop to ask if alright if you bail out. Multiple bathroom facilities is an added plus,2 porter pottys & an actual small facility...

This is a great little street skatepark designed by SITE Design and built by Spohn Ranch. It's got a plaza design. The concrete work and design are solid. The problem is the traffic at the park. There were way too many kids when we went on Saturday evening. It was a little dangerous to skate with all the kids around. Overall a great park, especially for practicing...

These parks need more SHADED areas. Grown folks would like to enjoy some picnics or something without getting 3rd degree sunburn!!! Hell I can’t lay under a tree with shade and watch my kid play. It’s a decent park...
