Wish I could give ZERO. Absolute WORST EXPERIENCE from ANY cell provider I’ve ever worked with. To start I walk in with my family as we are looking to get new cell phones and a new cell phone service. We stand there for about 5–10 minutes before anybody acknowledges us and says “hi how can we help you?” Even though we are literally the only people in the store at the time. This guy and girl are over here giggling behind the counter like they don’t see us..then when they hear that we wanna start new service and all they perk up and start doing their job. One guy starts asking me what phones and what plan I want to be on I told him the PRO and the PRO MAX with the plan that is $65 a month. (Mind you I’ve already spoken with someone at another Verizon store about the amounts we’d be spending a few days ago so we decided to go in person to get our phones because we were okay with the agreed upon amount.) 1st issue. They didn’t give me the phone I asked for even though it is under MY credit, they didn’t even bother to explain that it was not going to be covered from financing. They just ended up giving me the regular 16 and gave my other family member the phone that they wanted even though again it’s under MY credit. On top of that, they did not mention that there was a $50 deposit. They said it was “taxes and fees.“ I had to go back in person the next day because I was billed an additional $300+ after I had just paid over $300 in person the PREVIOUS day due to “taxes and fees“ for the phones as the girl said. On top of that they added a protection plan for EACH PHONE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. And as I am explaining this to the manager SEVERAL times the following day, he tries to gaslight me and tell me that they can’t add it without me signing for something and as I had told him earlier, the only thing that I had signed was when the girl (who is apparently training) told me she needs my Social Security to check my credit. To add salt to the wound, they didn’t ask for my social once or twice, they asked me to re-enter it SIX TIMES and the last two times I had to read it aloud while there were other people in the store. On top of having to go back-and-forth between the guy and the girl because we don’t know who the sales rep is until we get the paperwork at the very end, this guy and girl kept sneaking off to the back giggling and whispering and then would come back with conflicting information because the guy that initially spoke to me and asked me what phones and service I wanted, ended up not telling the girl who’s supposed to be the sales rep what I asked for and just did whatever they wanted.
What you have done is committed FRAUD when adding not only the protection plan but the $80 plan that was NOT agreed upon ON TOP of telling me that I’m getting the pro and the promax and then giving me the 16 and the promax. When I go in person the next day, the manager basically gaslight me and tells me that I agree to everything when again the only signature that I have given is when the girl said “We need you to sign here for us to use your Social Security.” She didn’t mention anything about me agreeing to ANY protection plan or $80/mo plan. Of course this manager does nothing and basically tries to man-splain everything to me as if I’m uneducated?? I ended up leaving bc obviously they don’t care and chat with CS and they told me that not only is there a protection plan that’s about $20 per line, but I’m also on the $80 plan so I had to remove everything. (Again all of this has been done without my consent or knowledge because these two representatives from your store keep going back-and-forth to the front and back of the store and every time they run to the back of the store they’re giggling and whispering so my assumption is that they added all of this without my permission and then go and blame it on the “computer“. I asked the mngr - his excuse - “ The system added.” Newsflash to the manager at this store. I work in sales. It doesn’t “add on” unless YOU add it on. After talking on the app through sms with Verizon and having my chat ENDED by the other party I had no choice but to go in person. After I asked the little boy to explain to me he said that since I did the change mid month iam still responsible for the other persons data payment. I tell him that that’s exactly why I did it before my bill was due because I can no longer pay the other line. I retreat to ask the other person whom was the secondary line before the change and I speak to them in Spanish (they only speak Spanish) I come back to him to ask other questions about the same topic “why wasn’t I told this before hand? I specifically asked if there would be any changes they had said no” and he responds “eso es algo que ya no se puede alegar señora” with such an attitude this was BEYOND ME! So I proceed to tell him I can’t pay and will come back another time. Nick is the salesman who did this. He charged me $795.00 For a phone verizon cs is telling me was selling for only costs $696.00 At the time of my purchase.
