America Cinemas Houston — Attraction in Houston

Let me start off by saying that for $7 tickets I definitely did not expect much and by reading the reviews. But we arrived around 8:30 pm for the last showing and there was nobody checking tickets so we literally just walked in even though I paid for our tickets online. These movies are in Spanish or Spanish subtitles so beware and they do not do refunds per the reviews. As soon as we sat down I realized how uncomfortable the seats were so we definitely kept shifting around throughout the whole movie. Right after we sat down my eyes started to itch and my nose was starting to get runny and I could smell mold 😩 So beware if you have sensitive allergies I would not recommend to sit there for and hour + The ground was definitely sticky and dirty but like I said I had already read the reviews so I was not that shocked but the mold in the air was definitely something that was not talked about in the reviews but I definitely noticed it and my spouse did as well. So needless to say this was our first and probably last time coming to...

Ok, first of all, why do you expect someone to pay a ticket for a kid that is below 3 years old????? Its not like the kid would actually enjoy watching a movie that is 1 hour or longer!! They don't stay that concentrated on only one thing! Second of all, the people around would not. Stop. Talking. Some people would even use their phones with the screens on bright(though I will acknowledge that isn't anything to do with the theater service itself but with the people that go). Thirdly, why is there a restriction for the time we can enter a theater room?? I arrive before that designated time of the movie and they wouldn't let me enter the room because "they don't let people enter until 10 minutes before the start of the movie". That is total bull. Overall, I found the place to be outrageous. Even the snack prices were insane!! Like, seriously?! 32 dollars for a bucket of popcorn, 2 drinks and some nachos?!?! What are you serving a 5 star dish cuisine or something? Most definitely not visiting this...

Completly upset because I read reviews before my fiance and I try a new place out whether it be a restaurant or a movie theater like this time for an example. We wanted to go watch Black Panther but nust moved to area and didnt have car so we had to use Uber. So I googled "movie theaters near me" and this one popped up. So I read reviews which were decent. So off we were, when we arruved we were extremely disappointed to find out that all movies are in Spanish??!! Really! So we were out 20$ to Uber and didn't feel like you g to see movie at all that night. No where did it say this was a Spanish theater!!!! I mean NO where. I don't understand why not even a review said it??! So here I am , THIS IS A ONLY SPANISH SPEAKING THEATER ALL MOVIES IS...
