This is my very first time writing a negative review on Google. I value and respect every store owner’s hard work and dedication to their jobs, so even if on very rare occasions, the service isn’t up to standard, I feel completely fine to understand and let it bypass me. But, this time is different.
On many occasions I came to the salon and asked for a full head coloring service. I’ve visited the salon about 10 times, and half of the time the owner of the salon colored only the roots of my hair without communicating that with me beforehand. After coloring the roots, I always expected the rest of the hair to be colored but she refused. First few times, I didn’t like the idea but understood when she said it’s because my hair condition is dry. Initially, I trusted her expertise.
Three months ago, back in May, the same incident happened again, and she colored only the roots leaving the rest of my hair orange and brassy all summer. She promised to color the rest of the hair when I’m back next time. Then, today I went into the salon, again, she colored only the roots and when I asked about the rest of the hair, she refused to color it claiming hair is damaged. (My hair isn’t in pristine condition, but it’s in normal condition like the majority of people) Now, my roots are bright orange and the rest of my hair is extremely bright and brassy as well. Even when I asked her nicely that I needed the whole head to be color because it’s way too bright now, she refused.
Most importantly, I was charged the same price each time when merely the roots were colored. But, price wasn’t what upset me.. what upset me was that the owner has very strong opinion and refused to cater to customer’s needs and concerns. I cried myself home and will look for another salon to re-color.
I refuse to post my orange hair on Google, but if you would like a picture of my hair, send me an email and I will send it your way. And, if any of you have suggestions on where to go in Houston for coloring-disaster remedy, please do let me know. Thank you in advance.

Read moreI called to ask if the hairstylist would allow walk ins. She allowed me to come even if it was almost 4pm. However, due to traffic, I arrived past 4pm. She accommodated me even when she was about to close the salon. She cut my hair and made sure I was okay. She instructed me to blow dry my hair and told me how to take care of it. When I got out of the salon, she told me that she was going to church. I felt bad but at the same time amazed of her because she took the time to cut my hair despite me arriving late. Read morePrices are very reasonable/affordable. Overall pretty happy & satisfied with the results. The person who cuts the hair appears to be the owner as well (there seems to be only 1 lady). I felt like she wasn’t the friendliest but at the same time very polite. She’s honest in her opinions which is kinda refreshing and made me trust being with a stylist with their own thinking of what would look best on the client. Overall great place for a variety of services & I would recommend.
