So I’ve been coming to cloud 9 for years and It’s one of the oldest longest after hour spot to find fun international music, good food especially their suya and hookah. It’s super affordable and it’s pretty close to beltway 8 for quicker freeway access. Like any business there are pros and cons, the only cons I’ll say is they need to find a way to automate booking a section like through a website or app or some rather than just calling or texting the manager. However the manager (Karim) is super cool & accessible should you decide to confirm via phone anyway. Reason why I said that’s a con because it’s super hard to get certain sections on the weekend since those are the most popular days unless you’re a regular. Other than if you’re from out of town and you’re in town looking for a good after hour I’ll highly suggest it as they have plenty of security and off duty cops for safety and also they have valet for parking or self parking. I’ll suggest you pay for parking as street parking are not always safe for your vehicle as it can get broken in or get towed so keep that in mind. Other than that, it’s most definitely the to go place for after hour on the southwest...
Read moreThis place is a Nigerian night club. It’s ok but I didn’t know it was a Nigerian night club until I entered. Hookah was $30 and it was amazing. Definetly the best hookah I have ever had. The HOOKAH WAS SO GOOD y’all dont understand it hits hard and fast. The fee for parking and entering was $10 each. There isn’t anywhere to really sit unless you get there early or get a section. Me and my friends are black(American) and there were quite a lot of stares and not the good kind. It was a stare like you don’t belong here stare. This club is open from 1-6am I believe but people don’t really come till 3am. There was a lot of older people when I went and I’m 19 so I would prefer to party with people my age. The bathroom is so small it’s ridiculous. The female and even males in this place were not serving looks at all and they...
Read moreThis is a nice hole in the wall spot. I have gone on Friday nights and it's generally a good size crowd. It's not bodies on top of one another, but it can be on some nights. The mirrors that they have are huge attractions for watching yourself dance, and I guess looking around the club.
There is an upstairs which in my experience doesn't get used to often. So it's a great place to collect yourself and maybe sit down for a little bit. The music is African based and so is the crowd, but everyone is welcomed. There is food on the patio and more seating.
They offer valet, but I like my parking like I like my...
