I found out about Club Pilates from an IG advertisement for a free intro class and by the end of the session with Meoka I had signed up for unlimited sessions! I'm now on class 3 since signing up and couldn't be happier for having joined. The location is convenient, the facility is pristine, and the staff are beyond kind and welcoming! I am looking forward to embarking on my pilates journey with Club Pilates!

I had a great experience at Club Pilates! The facility was well-maintained, which made the environment so inviting. I also loved how personalized the sessions session was with my name on the wall– the instructor Meoka also really took the time to tailor the workout and paid attention to your form throughout the class. You will not fall through the cracks.Highly recommend!

Melanie was our Pilates instructor and she was awesome! We went as a group and had such a fun time. She kept the workout super upbeat and made it really easy to follow, whether you're just starting out or already on your fitness journey. She made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Definitely recommend her class!

There are no words to express how much joy Pilates adds to my life. I remember when my sister recommended that we try it together. I wasn’t familiar with Pilates, but went to the 30 minute intro class and the lovely Meoka McBride was the instructor. It was new, different and I decided to join.

I’m 88 classes in now. I never in my whole life thought I’d not only be consistent with a work out, but truly LOVE a workout so much. It gives me so much delight and it’s like my body sings with joy after each session!

Meoka’s my favorite instructor and it’s not only because she’s an amazing teacher. Meoka has a gift of making you feel seen and challenging you to explore and do more than you ever thought possible in a fun, humorous way. I’m so grateful!

Highly recommend Pilates if you need a softer, gentler challenge that still has intensity but doesn’t get you cardio-level sweaty or spike your energy unnecessarily (i.e. higher levels of cortisol).

1-29-24 I love Club Pilates and have had a great experience for the most part. However, I do not understand the logic of having everyone take off their shoes when the instructors still where their shoes, and/or if you have to go to the bathroom no one wants to wear socks to the bathroom. I shared my concern with the manager a couple weeks ago after being scolded by the front desk lady for being 5 minutes late.

Today I arrive to class early and the instructor Teresa glares at me. I smile wish her good morning and she glares again and says, “I should leave my stuff in the cubbies not bring my outside shoes in…” and goes on this rant in front of the entire class. She kept glaring at me and I gave her a look back. I tell her that she’s wearing outside shoes inside and if I need to go to the bathroom I’m not wearing socks to the bathroom. She continues with her rant and I just look at her. I can’t focus in the class and end up leaving early. She asks me if something is wrong and I tell her I don’t appreciate her calling me out in public and that was disrespectful. I left and will likely never attend her class. No wonder it’s never full, she is very abrasive in her communication. The only thing that sucks is I love Pilates in the morning at 6:30am and she’s the only one who teaches it Monday. :-( ————- 12-29-22 Meoka is awesome! She spearheads the class with excellence by using easy to understand analogies, pays exquisite attention to each students form, and offers modifications & progressions for those who desire more or less intensity. She’s a delight to take instruction from and the reason I look forward to coming to Pilates is...

I am someone who has never ever ever stuck with a workout routine. I've paid on gym memberships for years and maybe used them for days or weeks. I tried Barre. I tried Yoga. I start and then stop because I don't like the gym scene in general, and I don't like monotony (so I get bored easily & that makes it easy to just stop going). I decided I would just be a walker for the rest of my life & get my daily exercise in that way, but at almost 57 years old, realized I needed to incorporate something to help w/ declining strength and to help w/ balance. Someone suggested Pilates! I started working out at Club Pilates several months ago. I originally got their 8 sessions a month package b/c I was sure I would eventually walk away from this too. I had bumped it up to the unlimited package within the first 2 weeks. :) I can honestly say I've kept up w/ it (4x a week on average), and I actually look forward to my classes. Over the holidays I had to miss about 2 weeks because of a thumb injury and I was seriously bummed out about it! What I love most is that there are never more than 11 other people in the studio at the same time as I am there (which as an introvert ranks high on my list of priorities), and that every day there is new stuff to do and try. I can't believe how many different things you can do on the equipment. I love the variety! Plus, all of the instructors I have had are knowledgeable and capable, but also encouraging & fun. I usually have Ramsey & Holly (just b/c they teach the early morning classes that work best for my schedule). Both are fantastic, but all the instructors I have had are great. If you're on the fence about trying it, just do it! I don't burn a ton of calories while I'm there but that is not at all the reason why I go. Your body will definitely respond to the lower impact workouts. I feel stronger than I have in a long, long time (probably...

The Club Pilates Heights location has exceptional instructors and extremely helpful front desk staff. With my Passport membership, I’ve experienced many other studios, both in Houston and nationwide. The Heights instructors have spoiled me, so that I don’t want to waste time on even an average workout at another studio. I’ve participated in Flow, Control, Sculpt and Suspend classes. The classes are as described, in terms of level of effort and difficultly. I can easily and predictably choose a class, based on my desired effort, to compliment my other fitness activities. Other positives … Each class type varies, depending on the instructor. And each instructor varies their classes, to avoid boredom. Everyone has different favorite instructors; mine are Meoka and Rachael. These instructors provide clear instruction, with classes that flow easily from movement to movement. Reminders are given for proper body alignment and to modify movements for increased challenge or to accommodate injury. In my experience, the Heights studio instructors provide the best and exceptional instruction.

Pilates classes are excellent for both fitness and rehab, such as post shoulder surgery or knee replacement. The Flow classes, focus on strengthening the shoulder girdle and muscles supporting the knee.

I highly recommend this studio and Pilates, as a compliment to any workout routine. It works those little muscles, that sometimes get missed, even with compound strength movements, and effectively strengthens the body core muscles. Thank you to the Club Pilates...
